Fadeela tries to move on after the death of her husband and son in an accident, while Amjad, her son, tries to help her. Amjad meets by chance his childhood sweetheart, Azza, in his new job.

Azza is upset by Samer's ignoring her, while a young man proposes to her, so her mother tries to convince her to agree. Wafa asks her brother, Walid, to help her make Asaad approve of an actor who wants to marry her.

Saeed decides to take revenge on Osama in his own way. Azza asks Amjad to meet her, but he doesn’t like her manner.

Hani meets Azza for the second time to get to know her better, whereas Azza tries to apologize to Amjad, who gets upset with Abeer after seeing her with Osama.

Amjad's condition improves after seeing Azza, who refuses to marry Hani. Osama proposes to Abeer. As Azza tells Amjad that she wants to marry him, he’s taken aback by her straightforwardness.

When Mahmoud declares to Wafa his wish to marry her, she tells him that she is seeing someone, while Amjad decides to marry Azza.

Azza visits Amjad's family and celebrates Abeer's wedding with them. Walid decides to help Amjad and mortgage his house for a year to get married in it.

Mahmoud tells Wafa about his simple life and how he helps his family. Amjad asks Abu Adel for Azza's hand in marriage. Saeed blackmails Abul Lail after he refuses to kill Osama.

Louay asks Wafa to visit him at his house, but she refuses. Asaad asks Abu Adel for Azza's hand for Amjad, and he agrees.

Azza prepares to marry Amjad, whereupon the wedding takes place amid the joy of their families. Wafa tells her brother, Walid, that she no longer wants to marry Louay.

Wafa gets close to Mahmoud. Amjad is happy after his marriage to Azza. Louay starts watching Wafa after she leaves him.

Louay apologizes to Wafa, who doesn’t accept his apology. As she tells her brother, Asaad, about Mahmoud's wish to marry her, and about his poor financial condition, he agrees and tells her that he will pay for their marriage in full.

As Amjad is upset by the circumstances the country is going through, Azza tries to comfort him. Abul Lail agrees to kill Osama.

As Louay assaults Wafa, Mahmoud couldn’t stand it, so he beats him, whereupon Mahmoud gets hurt. Louay apologizes to Mahmoud.

Louay decides to help Mahmoud, who refuses, after which the latter quits his job at the school, which surprises Wafa. As Osama gets killed on his wedding day, Abeer cannot bear the shock.

Amjad tries to help Abeer to overcome her ordeal. Wafa tries to contact Mahmoud, but he does not give her a chance.

As Wafa tells Mahmoud that she loves him, he’s not convinced of her love. Abul Lail cannot stand it after killing Osama. Azza tries to bring Walid closer to Abeer to help her overcome her ordeal.

Walid asks Amjad for Abeer's hand in marriage and he agrees. The doctor tells Amjad that he has a problem with conception and asks him to start the treatment.

Azza tries to comfort Amjad. Walid tells Abeer that he wants to marry her, and she agrees.

Azza and Amjad's relationship becomes strained after the problem of conception. Louay gets Mahmoud a new job to improve his income.

Louay asks Mahmoud to marry Wafa. Amjad gets upset by Azza's growing apart from him and her change of character, while Azza gets close to Mahmoud.

Louay warns Mahmoud not to get close to Azza, who tells Amjad that she’s not happy with him, so he suggests that they take some time apart to resolve their situation.

Azza leaves her home, while hiding from her family the reason for her dispute with Amjad, but her sister, Etab, finds out and admonishes her for her relationship with Mahmoud.

As Etab tries to convince her sister to return to her husband, Azza indeed leaves Mahmoud because of her love for Amjad and returns home.

Azza entreats Mahmoud to stay out of her life. Wafa is taken to the hospital after suffering a peptic ulcer.

Azza feels remorse after learning that Wafa was taken to the hospital. As Amjad tells Azza about the caller, she suspects that it is Samer. When Amjad learns of Azza's relationship with Mahmoud in the past, he confronts her with the truth.

Azza tells Amjad that she did not cheat on him with Mahmoud, whom Asaad tells that he wants to wed him to his sister Wafa, so he agrees.

Azza tells Walid that she did not commit a crime to receive all this cruelty from Amjad, who leaves the house, which Azza couldn’t stand, so she goes to him.

Azza asks Amjad to forgive her, but he declines, whereupon she decides to leave the house and prepares to make their separation official.

Wafa and Mahmoud get engaged. As Azza couldn’t bear her divorce from Amjad, her psychological condition deteriorates. A year later, Azza marries Hani, while Amjad becomes a well-known poet.
