Master Ramadan and the people of the neighborhood go to pick up Dr. Mustafa and his fiancée, Mona, after they came back from abroad. When the police ask to inspect Dr. Mustafa's luggage, they find a bag full of drugs, but Mustafa denies that the bag is his.

Mona tells her father, Counselor Abdel Hamid, that Mustafa's innocent and that she's sure that the bag isn't his, but he says that rules are rules, and if he's found guilty, he'll be sentenced to hard labor for life; Mustafa's lawyer asks him to testify and tell the court about Mustafa's history.

Mustafa is sent to prison, which causes Master Ramadan to get sick and become bedridden. Mona decides to leave her father’s villa and go to live in her husband Dr. Mustafa's apartment until he returns to her.

Dr. Mustafa gets into a fight inside the prison with a drug trafficker who learned about his story. Mona tells her father, the counselor, that she has submitted her resignation from the university.

Master Etr obtains the drugs from Monsieur Arnaud and starts storing them with his boy, Handaq. Ramadan asks Mona to seek the help of the most acclaimed attorney to defend her husband, Mustafa and get him acquitted. Ramadan decides to sell his shop to afford the expenses of his son's case.

Counselor Abdel Hamid receives a call from the new prime minister informing him that he has appointed him as the Minister of Justice. Ramadan comes in front of Abdel Hamid's house, pulling a cart with Dr. Mustafa's certificates, asking Abdel Hamid to effect justice.

Mustafa gets sick in prison and faints, after which his friends ask for help in order to save Mustafa, who is taken in an ambulance to the hospital.

Mona asks her father to visit her husband, Dr. Mustafa, in prison, but he tells her that his situation has become very sensitive, especially after he became the Minister of Justice. Master Etr and Handaq plant drugs in the sanitary fittings' warehouse.

Master Ali tells the people of the neighborhood that he won't wed his son, Faraj, to Ramadan's daughter, Bataa, who overhears, takes off the jewelry and throws it in Faraj's face, then leaves with her father. Mustafa takes advantage of the guards watching the match and escapes from the hospital.

Mustafa goes to his wife Mona's apartment after he escapes. Umm Amara exposes Ramadan in the neighbourhood and demands her money in front of everyone. After Abdel Hamid learns that his daughter helped Mustafa escape from the hospital and gets mad at her, he relinquishes his position at the ministry.

Dr. Mustafa calls the café owner and asks him to tell his father that he is on the phone to talk to him. Faraj slips into a state of severe depression after Bataa leaves him for a while.

Amm Ibrahim discovers that Mustafa is hiding in the old office of Counselor Abdel Hamid and that Mona is the one who hid him. Mustafa meets his father and tells him that he will flee and travel abroad.

When Mona learns that her father took Amm Ibrahim to the house after his illness, she visits him, but he then dies. Counselor Abdel Hamid learns that Mona has helped her husband, Mustafa, escape.

Mona asks Faraj to get back with Bataa. Abdo tries to keep his wife silent after she decided to reveal his secret to the people of the neighborhood and tell them that he deals drugs.

After the police arrest Abdo, his wife stands in for him in the restaurant. Master Ali apologizes to Ramadan and his daughter, Bataa, and asks them to forgive him. Mustafa flees to Paris.

When Master Etr learns from his boy, Handaq, that his son, Ezzat, the captain of the soccer team, has become a drug addict, he tries to save him, but he dies. Etr goes to Monsieur Arnaud, the foreigner, and shoots him dead.

Counselor Abdel Hamid and Mona travel to Paris, after which the counselor discovers that Mustafa is innocent and that Rash is the one who masterminded everything and reported Mustafa to the police. Mustafa is proved innocent in front of everyone and returns to his wife, Mona.
