When Hamdy goes to the Ministry of Urban Development to object to the demolition of the building in which he lives, he faces neglect from the employees. The party in which Hamdy is a member asks him to submit a petition of their requests to the authorities before abandoning him.

Hamdy objects to Amal's request to leave the party after the police beat him. Ghassan gets involved with Ra'fat in a car accident and forgets Hamdy's phone bill in the car. Hamdy visits the ministry and faces the anger of an official there after meeting Fotun.

Hamdy receives a position in the party. He gets offered to pay the value of the apartment to its owner or to receive a compensation in exchange for leaving it. When the employee Raghad advises him to accept, he looks for someone to loan him money. Yehia quarrels with Jida.

Tamam is promoted to the office of assistant minister. Yehia struggles while submitting a request to withdraw from an apartment under construction. Hamdy borrows money from Nabil who is subjected to abuse in his work by the director-general. The police pursue Ghassan and Ra'fat.

Raghad faces work problems despite her integrity. Amal is unfairly transferred from her work. Nabil turns to Hamdy's house after he gets fired from work.

As the police arrest Hamdy while giving a bribe to the director-general, he enlists the help of the party leader. Abu Nawar is suspended from work and subjected to investigation. Hamdy's name is put with the candidates for the ministry, as it's impossible for him to win.

After the police release Hamdy, Amal blames him for neglecting the expenses of his house. The television announces his appointment to the position of Minister of Urban Development. Nadia tries to approach Amal afterward.

As Hamdy arrives at the Ministry, the employees who have previously expelled him get close to him. Amal is surprised when she returns to school and her colleagues get close to her, but she refuses their bribes. Yehia relays Hamdy's news to Amal.

After the news of Nabil's connection to Hamdy spreads, the director-general returns him to work. Amal reconciles with Nadia. Hamdy watches the construction sites. As Yehia gets jealous of Hamdy's closeness to Fotun, he drives a wedge between her and Amal.

Hamdy tracks the hidden corruption in the ministry. Amal collapses after discovering Ghassan's relationship with the singer Elissar. Aliaa is surprised by her university professor's nice treatment despite his previous dislike of her. Abu Nawar seeks to cooperate with Hamdy to protect himself.

Abu Nawar visits Hamdy. When Amal quarrels with Asim and accuses him of exploiting Hamdy's position, he threatens her with divorce. Hamdy refuses to appoint Yehia as his office manager. Tamam sets Hamdy up and forges the date of a file.

Tamam hands over the document to Raghad in order to get Hamdy to sign it. As Amal starts receiving precious gifts, she begins to trust Nadia. When Hamdy and his family are in a restaurant, they discover that Ghassan is the drummer there.

Asim warns Aliaa about Nabil's desire to emigrate after their quarrel. Fotun tries to entrap Hamdy. Mohsen confesses to Hamdy that he is implicated with Tamam in illegal documents.

Amal prevents Hamdy from participating in a sit-in by the party. The police arrest Ghassan after his fight with Ra'fat. Nadia gives Amal a gift in exchange for a signature from Hamdy on a document. Yehia fires Nabil from work on orders of Amal.

Amal cooperates with the wife of the party leader. Yehia works to bring Aliaa closer to Ra'ouf to marry him instead of Nabil. Hamdy complains to Fotun about why his children are angry with him.

Nabil falls into Yehia's trap. Amal joins the party. Hamdy reconciles with Aliaa and warns her against seeing Nabil. As Hamdy refuses to help Amal by signing, he looks for a way to fight the ministry's corruption.

Nadia pressures Amal to carry out a favor for her and warns her about Fotun's closeness to Adel. Ghassan gets himself in trouble after protecting his colleague from a harasser. Raghad warns Hamdy of the evils of his predecessors in case their files are opened and they are interrogated.

Nabil tells Asim that he saw Fotun and Hamdy together. As Amal's arrogance grows, she turns against Ghosoun. Some employees unite with Tamam to prevent Hamdy from exposing their corruption. After Hamdy refuses Abu Galal's bribe, the latter goes to Amal to help him.

The problems between Hamdy and Amal increase because of her interference in his work, especially after many people fill her head with lies about him.

Amal agrees with Samia to dismiss Fotun in exchange for harming Ghosoun, and they win positions in the party. Raghad reveals to Hamdy an illegal transaction with a forged signature by Fotun, and informs him that the investigation will implicate the anti-corruption chief with Abu Galal.

Mu'tasim reassures Abu Galal that their reputation is unharmed. Elissar convinces Ghassan to forge Hamdy's signature. Fotun hears lies about Hamdy and Raghad. Tamam manipulates Raghad's feelings. Amal is under investigation for her absence from her work. Hamdy tracks Fotun's fraud.

When Ghassan steals Hamdy's seal, he believes that Fotun did it, and he removes her from her job and appoints Nabil in her stead. Hamdy confronts Amal and Jida's attempts to interfere in his work, while Yehia raises their suspicions about his relationship with Raghad.

Hamdy discovers Ghassan's deed and the old car accident. Amal returns to her attempts to marry Aliaa to Ra'ouf. Ra'ouf deceives Aliaa so that Nabil sees them together. He convinces her that Nabil is the one who caused Ghassan to get in trouble and that he's in a relationship with Raghad.

As Ghassan stamps a contract for Elissar, Amal finds it before he escapes from the house. The police arrest Hamdy while he is chasing Ghassan. After Elissar falsifies Ghassan's assault on her, he marries her. Tamam makes up lies about Hamdy's integrity.

As Ghassan hides from his family, Amal gives Abu Mo'ataz the stamped contract. Elissar extorts Amal with money in exchange for her silence about Ghassan's fraud. Abu Mo'ataz, Abu Galal, and Umm Galal seek to win a tender at the ministry.

Elissar threatens Hamdy to imprison Ghassan and his wife and hand over the contracts that implicate them to Asim. After Hamdy beats Amal, she leaves the house. Tamam tells Raghad that Hamdy is the reason Umm Galal won the tender. An inspector comes to the ministry.

The inspector collects all the confessions of the employees. Nabil is imprisoned after beating Ra'ouf. As Hamdy discovers that the inspector is a fraud, he reconciles with Amal. Abu Galal agrees with Yehia and Jida on financial cooperation between them and delivering them cheap goods to sell.

As Nabil is released, Hamdy reveals Tamam's corruption to Raghad. Nadia informs Abu Galal of his wife's betrayal of him with Tamam. Ghassan discovers Elissar's betrayal and reconciles with Hamdy. Tamam asks Amal to cooperate with him and Umm Galal.

Hamdy submits the file about corruption with recorded evidence against Tamam and his helpers to the Director of the General Inspection. Aliaa returns to Nabil. Nadia tells Hamdy about Amal and Jida's company, which deals with the Ministry under Tamam's management and in partnership with Abu Galal.

After Hamdy is removed from his position, he confronts his family, as everyone admits their mistakes. Tamam is surprised that Umm Galal has deceived him, as she makes the deals herself without handing over his share. Hamdy is appointed as the Minister of Corruption Combating.
