After her husband dies in a factory fire, Salwa is forced to work as a factory guard in order to take care of her children, while Mr. Zuhair, the owner of the factory, helps her. As Salwa's co-worker, Majed, wishes to marry her, he tries to convince her to agree.

Mr. Zuhair travels to his sister and asks her to agree to hire Salwa as her maid, while Salwa is surprised when Majed asks her to leave the factory, run away with him, and set up a new project after he robbed and burned the factory, and the police accuse her of instigating the accident.

After the police arrest Salwa on charges of murder and theft, she is sentenced to life imprisonment, upon which she leaves her son, Hossam, with a sheikh to raise him. Majed impersonates another man to escape his crime.

Salwa goes mad in prison and escapes after years. Majed travels to Britain with the money and gets married there, while Fouad drugs his juice, forcing him to tell the truth and that he impersonated his cousin who died in the hospital; moreover, he confesses to killing and robbing Zuhair.

Majed is blackmailed by his friend, who asks him to give up his lab before returning to the Levant in return for not exposing him. As Majed meets Hossam, Salwa's son, again, he asks him to take on a lawsuit. A friendship develops between Hossam and Zuhair's son. Salwa begins looking for her kids.

Salwa continues to search for her kids as she works in a bakery, whereupon she meets her daughter, Soraya, by chance. Majed meets Baligh, Zuhair's son, and hires him in the laboratory without the latter's knowing that he killed his father.

As Majed learns that Salwa escaped from prison, his relative blackmails him again, threatening to reveal that he robbed and killed Zuhair. He suggests to Baligh to marry his daughter in return for making him his partner, but Baligh refuses, so he decides to keep him away from his fiancée in any way.

Fouad meets Baligh's fiancée and plans to get rid of her with Majed. While delivering a dress to a customer in the mountain, he attacks her in an attempt to kill her.

Salwa saves Soraya and calls the police. Majed manages to drive a wedge between Baligh and Soraya to make them hate each other, and he thinks that she is Salwa's daughter. Fouad manages to prove Soraya's parentage to Salwa.

Majed once again offers Baligh all his wealth in exchange for his marriage to his daughter. Moreover, he tells him that Soraya is Salwa Azzam's daughter. Meanwhile, Majed's daughter bargains with Soraya in order to split up with Baligh, and the latter notifies Salwa.

Soraya informs Salwa that Majed's daughter is involved with her fiancé, Baligh, and decides to confront him with the matter. Moreover, she tells her the reason for their separation. Soraya's friend reveals what Fouad did, tells Mounir about it, and asks him to help Soraya.

As Osama's friend suspects that Majed is Zuhair's killer, he decides to look into the matter. Majed meets Salwa in Osama's office and agrees with Fouad to get rid of her.

Fouad decides to return to America, and as Mounir's friend puts a truth serum in his drink, he incriminates Majed. Osama's friend finds the letter in which Majed confesses to killing Zuhair and proves Salwa's innocence. Osama discovers his kinship to Salwa and Soraya. Majed is arrested, and his daughter dies.
