Abdullah and Tammam go to Safeya's house to ask for the hand of her daughter Huda. Fate smiles upon Salah as his dream of becoming a cop is soon to be fulfilled.

The police chase Mona's father for his drug-dealing business, and Salah is investigated for shooting the man.

Following his father's death, Saied takes advantage of the situation to seize the inheritance and rob the family of what is rightfully theirs. Upon his release from the police station, Salah feels guilty for committing a heinous act like murder.

Following her father's death, Mona starts selling religious cassette tapes, while Belal tries to find out the identity of the murderer.

Mona invites Salah over to her place, and he learns that her father is the man he murdered. Tammam resumes his religious preaching and lecturing of the people of the neighborhood.

Salah is so guilt-ridden that he tries to make amends to Mona's family. Belal finds out that flour is being stolen from the neighborhood. Atia grows suspicious of his wife's behavior.

Salah goes on a mission to arrest a female drug-dealer, but he is shocked to discover it is Mona. Saied tells his family that their father sold him everything right before his death.

Karim's father refuses to support him financially. Sanaa starts working as a housemaid. Tamer learns that his father is doing drugs.

The police search Abdullah looking for any violations, but they find none. Atia suffers from Nahed's financial exploitation of him.

Mona is sentenced to 1 year in jail, and Salah feels guilty for having her father murdered and Mona herself imprisoned. Sabah gets fired.

Baraka thinks about marriage. Atia starts selling drugs to the people of the neighborhood.

Saied catches Kamel red-handed while stealing his money. Karim falls in love with a girl whom he met online.

Tammam refuses to wed Hanafi to Aisha due to his extreme poverty. Shawqy meets a producer who helps him pursue a career in singing.

Maher has a tragic train accident and gets paralyzed. Shawqy tries to return to his father's house.

Tammam gets an offer to work as a preacher on a TV program. Karim gets closer to the girl that he met online. Similarly, Nahed meets a young man and a spark of friendship ignites between them.

Atia keeps an eye on his wife Nahed's suspicious behavior. Laila tries to get the help of a former workmate to find a new job.

A fire breaks out at Safia's house. Saied is wracked with guilt over seizing his family's share of the inheritance.

Tammam accepts the offer to work on a religious channel, but he is shocked to learn that his own son Shawqy is into singing. A young man proposes to Safaa, and Salah assaults him because he thinks he has been dating his sister prior to proposing.

Mai learns that Laila is not her mother. Tammam disowns his son Shawqy who has become a well-known singer.

Tahani feels that fame has changed Shawqy to a point that their marriage seems impossible. After a quarrel between the two men, Saleh asks Hafzi to approve his marriage to Soaad.

Tamer learns that Nahed is cheating on his father with Shams. Safia has terminal kidney disease, and Sanaa offers to donate a kidney to her.

Abdullah marries Sanaa. Mona gets out of prison. Tamer decides not to reveal Nahed's betrayal to his father to save him the heartache.

Mona accepts to marry Salah customarily, and similarly, Khaled and Safaa get married. Tammam urges his son to give up his singing career if he wants to be allowed into the family house.

Safia's health deteriorates. Mona asks Salah to announce their marriage. Shawqy asks for Tahani's hand. Saied's son steals the house's contract.

Karim worries about his crush's visit to Egypt since she might reject him because of his poverty. Abdullah gets swindled out of money.

Mona tries to get Salah to announce their marriage. The truth about Karim's financial status is revealed to his crush. Atia learns that his wife has been cheating on him.

Sanaa takes over Saied's house. Zeinab is shocked when Tammam marries his workmate Eman.

Safia draws her last breath among her family members. Unsolvable problems arise between Tammam and Eman and she asks for a divorce. Tammam gets fired from work.

Salah kills Safaa and her husband when he learns of their marriage. Shawqy returns to his family and tries to fix things between his parents. Nafisa travels to Mecca for a pilgrimage.
