David boards a ship that has a group of traveling Jews including Ezra. Sham'oun and Nahor of the Jewish Agency meet David, who asks them to leave him to rest and explore Naples. Antonio asks Ezra to convince David to go to France so they could convince him to go to Israel.

When David discovers that he is being watched and that his room has been searched, he tells Nahor to keep his inadequate men away from him. Nahor tries to convince the Egyptian Jews to go to Israel. Egyptian Intelligence Agent Mostafa Abdel Azim comes up with a plan to see Raafat.

Mostafa reviews Raafat's training. When David arrives in Israel, he dreams that he's been made by the Israeli. He meets Yousef Al-Azra and tells him about how he hasn't eaten for 24 hours and how much he is sleeping. Yousef wants to know how David plans to serve Israel.

Yousef is annoyed when David tells him that he wants to open a tourism company. Helen tells Aziz about David's recurrent dream that he refused to talk about. Yousef talks with Serena and Dan about David and recommends Orlo to be David's partner.

Antonio uses Ezra to get information about David's background. He tells Yousef and Ya'coub that he will ask Sarah and Ephraim to investigate David's life in Egypt. Ezra asks David to help him go back to Egypt.

Ezra thinks that David is a traitor when he agrees to help him return to Egypt, but David goes to see Antonio and tells him about Ezra's intent. Lilian tells Ya'coub that she won't try to get close to David to expose him. Franca tells David to keep his distance from Lilian.

The investigation convinces Antonio that David is a patriot. Serena invites David to a party. David and Orlo interview applicants to pick a secretary after David refuses to make Sibel their secretary.

Ester becomes David's secretary and starts to fall for him. After David writes down the information he gathered on the Israeli air force, he tears the paper apart after he recalls Mostafa's instructions. He sends a message to Marcel saying that the company is having financial trouble.

When Mostafa receives David's message, he takes Mohsen to meet Raafat. Marcel sends a message about how much she misses David. Ester confesses her love for David. David goes to Rome and meets Mohsen, who asks him not to send any information.

Eliyahu asks Monica about how Ester is going in Maggie Tours after meeting David. Serena asks David to join the Histadrut. Ester goes to David's place and tells him that she loves him.

When David goes against orders and sends a message to Egypt, Mostafa admonishes him and Nadim decides that someone needs to meet him. Ester weds Eliyahu. Orlo asks to dissolve the partnership with David.

David is thrilled when Nasser nationalizes the Suez Canal. Fearing that David might get drafted into the army, Ester tells him to leave for France. David informs the Intelligence Directorate of the date of the Tripartite Aggression. Aziz is invited to join the Intelligence Directorate.

When Raafat tells Mohsen that he wants to return to Egypt, Aziz reads his case file as senior agents discuss whether to end the entire operation. Aziz argues that Raafat, or Agent 313 as he is known in the Intelligence Directorate, still has a lot to offer.

David grows fearful when Ester tells him that the Mossad caught a spy who turned his associates in. When that coincides with everyone keeping their distance from David due to his financial struggles, he mistakenly believes that he'd been made. Aziz summons David for a new training period.

David asks Yousef to help him convince Orlo to provide buses for the coming tourist groups, but Yousef tells Orlo that David doesn't want his busses. Aziz and Nadim go to Rome to meet Raafat. Helen inquires about Aziz's first impression of Raafat.

David is confused when he learns that the tourist groups that he got a letter about are real. Nadim informs Raafat of the date and location of their meeting. Eliyahu and Ester discuss David and Orlo's job offer for Ester.

When Yousef grows suspicious of David's new deal, Serena defends David. Raafat tells Nadim that he wants to go to Egypt. Nadim agrees and tells him that his sister Sherifa had a boy whom she named Raafat. Raafat learns that Sharl Samhoun, his purported father, has died.

Nadim tells Raafat to fire Ester, and teaches him how to use the new secret ink. Raafat says that he is going to return to Israel to serve Egypt. He sends Ester a telegram informing her of the date of his return to Israel. Ester asks to meet Serena.

Serena advises Ester to keep her friendship with David. Aziz delivers a letter from Raafat to Sherifa, who questions him about the rumors that Raafat is in prison.

Ester throws a dinner party in David's honor. David asks Monica to help him end things with Ester, and they agree to attend Ester's party as a couple. David informs the Intelligence Directorate of the information he got from Serena and Hasron.

A drunken Ester is upset over David's relationship with Monica. She agrees to work for Orlo in retaliation, but she is shocked when David raises a toast in honor of her new job. David finds a new secretary in Yahodet. Eliyahu tells David that Ester loves him.

Aziz sends someone to Sherifa, pretending that he met Raafat in Paris. David learns important information about the Israeli infrastructure. Nino tells David that Orlo asked him to leave Maggie Tours, and David asks him not give Orlo any information about him.

Rafik is angry that Sherifa hosted a man in their home behind his back. Mostafa meets David in England and David gives him a list of potential recruits. Mostafa tells Aziz about his admiration for the new David and his precision.

Sherifa receives Raafat's second letter and sends him one. When Raafat sends a letter about Israel's military deal with France, Israel grows concerned when they discover that Nasser knows about it. David arranges a trip for people that the Intelligence Directorate wants information about.

When Dan asks David for money, he offers to get him a job with a peace organization, which angers Dan. David grows worried about his reaction when Serena inquires about what happened and asks him over. David grows less strict with Yahodet and allows her to call him by his first name in private.

David offers Isaac a job with a secret peace organization in exchange for military information. Dan asks to meet a representative for the organization. Sohail tells Sherifa that Raafat is aiding the Algerian revolution. Aziz asks Officer Galal to be the organization’s representative.

David takes Dan to Amsterdam to meet Galal, who now goes by Greg. He meets Mohsen Momtaz and Mostafa who informs him that he can visit Sherifa in Egypt. A delegate for the president tells Rafik that Raafat has been working with the Algerian revolution and that he wants to visit his family soon.
