El Husseini Radwan sits with his eldest daughter Zainab and tells her that he has noticed a big change in her siblings' manners recently, and she warns him not to leave them unsupervised.

El Husseini Radwan is angry with his son Omar, and asks his kids and his wife to take care of their neighbor, Dalia, after she had a car accident.

Omar sees his neighbor Dalia and decides to watch her. El Husseini quarrels with his son Basil and asks him to be a responsible man in his studies and in life.

A quarrel occurs in the school between Ahmed, Haitham and the rest of the students, and the school principal summons El Husseini, who suggests that the principal bring computers to the school.

Basil gets angry after learning of his father's quarrel with Najati. Dalia tells El Husseini of her agreement with Osama on the divorce and drops hints to him that she likes him.

El Husseini gets sick. Omar meets Dalia and tells her that he loves her. Zainab gets angry with Akram after he tells her that he wants her to visit him at his house. Nemat, El Husseini's wife, dies.

El Husseini grieves for his wife, and Zainab takes care of the housework after her mother's death.

The police summon El Husseini, and the officer tells him that there are young men who assaulted his son Basil after he defended a girl he did not know on the street, but El Husseini asks the officer to withdraw the report.

Doctor Akram asks for his beloved Zainab's hand in marriage from her father El Husseini. As Zainab disapproves of Akram's mother's attitude, describing her as arrogant, El Husseini asks his daughter to give her beloved Akram another chance.

Journalist Nahla visits El Husseini, and discovers from Basil that his father did not buy him a computer, whereupon Basil takes the opportunity and asks her to convince his father to buy him one.

El Husseini tells his daughter Zainab that he now agrees with her that the mother of her beloved Akram is an arrogant woman, and he tries to help his friend Shawqi, who is facing marital problems.

Omar goes with his friend Nora to help him to work as a model. Dalia tries to seduce El Husseini, who stops her. Basil gets close to his friend Nevin and confesses his feelings to her.

Akram is officially engaged to his sweetheart Zainab. Omar flirts with Dalia, who rejects his attempts to get close to her.

Omar listens in on Dalia's phone conversation with his father and learns that she is flirting with him, and he gets angry. Basil is surprised when Nevin wears the veil.

Omar tells Dalia that he knows what she wants from his father and warns her not to get too close to him. He quarrels with his father after he talks to him about Dalia.

Akram marries Zainab. Basil finds that his girlfriend Nevin has changed completely and become a religious fanatic.

El Husseini confesses his feelings for the first time to Dalia and tells her that he is in love with her, and she also tells him that she has felt the same way for a long time. El Husseini talks to Laila, the wife of his friend Shawqi, in order to reconcile the two.

El Husseini Radwan is shocked when he sees Dalia with his son Omar, who kisses her hand. Dalia tries to apologize to El Husseini, but he refuses. El Husseini tries to mend his relationship with Omar.
