The series tackles the issue of Gulf women marrying men from other parts of the Arab world and how their children suffer in their societies later on, through the story of Yahia, an Egyptian who marries the Qatari Hend and has to falsely claim the lineage of his son to his father-in-law so he can have a residency in the country.
