Mays Gilliam is about to lose his work in his political party, when unexpectedly the presidential candidate dies and Mays gets chosen as the successor. He gets help and advise from his brother Mitch, his ex-girlfriend who came back to him in hope of becoming the first lady, as well as others including Debra his campaign advisor who is against his candidacy.
