Oliver meets the beautiful Emily on a plane to New York, and they quickly form a friendship. They each see life from a different perspective, and have opposite personalities. Soon their friendship turns into love, and they decide to not be together because of the differences in their characters. However, it isn't easy, and after 7 years, they seem to need each other more than ever.
