Lana, a missionary returning from Palestine, heads to LA to help the poor. As she grew up in South Africa and the Middle East, she witnessed how the rest of the world perceives America, and she tries to change her uncle Paul's view, since he believes that all Arabs and Muslims are terrorists since the 9/11 attacks.
