The painter Mukhtar, who suffers from schizophrenia, contemplates the color of death, while the diver Salim, who is fascinated by the sea, dies in a hospital bed, and Dalia, the nurse, remembers her father’s drowning. In these stories, there is a comparison between the sea and death, and all of the events take place in the city of Alexandria.
