Grandpa Mubarak asks Ali to help him find a job, while Umm Salem interferes in her daughter Noura's life and decides to talk to her husband about them not having children till now.

As Badriya looks forward to entering the university, she asks her mother to convince her father so that she can do so. Badriya rejects her grandfather's suggestion that she gets married.

Ghanem asks Ahmed to lend him money to buy a new car. Ahmed suggests to Noura to invite Salem to Badriya's engagement party.

Salem suggests to Grandpa Mubarak to get married rather than look for a job. Ali asks his son Ahmed to take care of his work as before. Both Noura and Maryam are upset that their husbands stay out late at night.

Noura gets angry and goes to her mother's house, and the latter prevents her from talking to her husband, Ahmed; meanwhile, Maryam tries to patch things up between them, but Umm Salem refuses.

As Mubarak suspects that his eldest son, Ali, is leafing through some women's magazines, he scolds him. Ghanem asks his mother, Maryam, to help him travel abroad after he passes his exams.

Maryam tells Ali of her wish to enroll in literacy classes. Umm Salem requires Noura to return to her husband and live in a separate home from his mother. Ali brawls with his son for his late return from Bahrain.

Mubarak scolds Ahmed for not being able to work apart from his father and not being self-reliant. Ali asks his son, Ahmed, to bring his wife home; meanwhile, Ali travels on a business trip to London.

Ahmed agrees to Noura's mother's request to search for a private house, while Ghanem discovers that Ahmed is staying at his mother-in-law's house temporarily without his mother's knowledge.

Ahmed asks Ghanem not to tell his mother that he is in his mother-in-law's house and to falsely claim that he has traveled to India. Salem convinces his mother that he proposes to Badriya, but the latter refuses.

Ahmed tells his mother that Badriya agreed to marry Salem, but she claims her refusal until she forces Maryam to agree. Ghanem fails at school and tells his brother, Ali, of his wish to leave school and look for a job.

As Salem and Badriya get married, quarrels begin between the mothers-in-law, Salem and Badriya's mothers. On the other hand, Mubarak tells his son, Ali, that he has opened a store for selling gas cylinders and that Ghanem works with him.

Mubarak looks forward to marrying Umm Salem. Badriya suggests to Ahmed that she travel abroad and complete her studies. Ghanem causes a fire in the gas store, but his grandfather forgives him and gives him a car as a gift for being self-reliant.
