A woman with a Ph.D. in English literature has been married to a psychology university professor for six years without having children, so problems between them abound. Some friends advise the wife to go to an herbalist to get some medicinal herbs to help her conceive, while some friends advise the husband to go to a psychiatrist, and as they follow their friends' advice, many events ensue.
