Abu Al Ezz sends gifts to Jorriya so that he can marry her, and the people hide Jawad from sight to avoid being punished for killing the Mowasalat and Karakata soldiers. Ismail rejects Abu Al Ezz’s gifts, and Safiya advises her husband, Rashid, to stay away from Al Jorbaji.

Zumrud and Jorriya escape, and the governor flees from the castle immediately after the people of Al-Amarah attack it. The people succeed in freeing Ismail, and Selim bombs Damascus from the citadel. Abu Hamza and Jawad are arrested, Abu Hashima succeeds in kidnapping Joriyya, and Halima kills Abu Hashima. Al Jorbaji’s men succeed in besieging Sherif Pasha’s men, a quarrel breaks out between Al Jorbaji’s men and the people of the Levant, and Tahseen helps Joriyya to reach the monastery.

Sherif Pasha hands over the palace to Al Shorbaji, and Jawad succeeds in escaping from the palace. Jorriya dies after giving birth, Zumrud escapes and assumes the identity of Jorriya with her child, and Ismail’s fate remains unknown.
