Events begin with Sultan Mahmoud imposing the estate tax. Al Jorbaji Agha besieges the castle to replace Al Sakumani, showing his solidarity with the public to cancel the estate tax. The Mufti intervenes to postpone the tax. Joriya becomes attracted to Jawad, who kills the military personnel who harassed her.

Abu Al Ezz sends gifts to Jorriya so that he can marry her, and the people hide Jawad from sight to avoid being punished for killing the Mowasalat and Karakata soldiers. Ismail rejects Abu Al Ezz’s gifts, and Safiya advises her husband, Rashid, to stay away from Al Jorbaji.

Zumrud considers escaping from Gold, and Ismail rejects Abu Al Ezz’s request to marry Joriyya. Jurios is still searching for Zumrud, and Abu Al Ezz recruits those who beat Ismail.

Abu Al Ezz pledges to Jorriya's father to hand over Ismail in exchange for marrying his daughter. A decree is issued to deport Al Karakata and Al Mwasla after pardoning Jawad. Zumrud remembers that Issa killed the one she intended to escape with. Safiya suffers as Rashid returns drunk.

Abu Al Ezz rejects Sheikh Alam Al Din's request to pardon Ismail. Gold succeeds in planting Narges in the castle to spy on Al Sakumani for Al Jorbaji. Zumrud informs Jaafar Agha of Gold's plan, and Abu Al Ezz marries Jorriya without her consent.

Al Jorbaji and Gold torture Zumrud, and Abu Ismail resorts to Sheikh Alam Al Din, who issues a fatwa annulling the marriage. Narges succeeds in escaping from prison, Al Jorbaji takes over the governorship of the Levant, and Abu Al Ezz shoots Abu Ismail after Jorriya escapes.

Abu Ismail tells Sheikh Alam Al Din to take care of his daughter Jorriya before he dies, and Jorriya finds herself in the maids' house. Rashid divorces Safiya after making sure that she is helping Abu Ismail’s family, and Al Sakumani’s attempt to kill Al Jorbaji fails.

Everyone is surprised by the killing of Al Sakumani. As Issa confesses to his father killing Qasim, Jorriya and Zumrud meet. Ismail and Jawad cooperate to kill Abu Al Ezz. Gold seeks to separate Zumrud and Jorriya as she learns of their intention to escape.

Ismail succeeds in killing Abu Al Ezz, Rashid intends to take revenge on Al Jorbaji for attacking Ismail, and Zumrud and Jorriya succeed in escaping. Zumrud, a Christian, takes refuge in the mosque, and Alam Al Din is martyred defending her. On the other hand, Jorriya calls the monastery for help.

The priest Touma sends Jorriya and Zumrud to Aunt Zuleikha's house. Rashid seeks to marry Jorriya as an act of revenge on Safiya for fighting him in his business. Zumrud discovers Jorriya's love for Jawad. Al Jorbaji seeks the help of the governor of Acre to stand against the tyranny of the governor, Selim.

The people of Al-Amarah refuse to sign off on the estate tax, and the clash between the people of Al-Amarah and the military succeeds in stopping the taxes. The military arrests Ismail. The people of Al-Amarah discover the governor’s intention to betray them. The military attacks Zuleikha’s house.

Zumrud and Jorriya escape, and the governor flees from the castle immediately after the people of Al-Amarah attack it. The people succeed in freeing Ismail, and Selim bombs Damascus from the citadel. Al Jorbaji breaks the peace between the governor and the people of the Levant, so he kills the governor.

Jorriya and Zumrud go to Safiya's house, and Jawad refuses to work for Al Jorbaji. Rashid thinks about taking revenge on Safiya and kidnapping Jorriya to marry her, Ismail goes to meet Jorriya at Safiya's house, and Zumrud is afraid of meeting her father.

Al Jorbaji is surprised by Muhammad Ali Pasha’s intention to conquer the Levant after his conquest of Acre. Jurios refuses to forgive Zumrud. The people of the Levant are suspicious of the entry of Ibrahim Pasha’s army. Al-Aghwa thinks about controlling the citadel and expelling Al Jorbaji.

Jawad insults Rashid when he spreads rumors about Jorriya's presence in Khan Al-Dakka. Zumrud seeks revenge on Gold. Rashid assigns his agents to the mountain to get rid of Jawad, who marries Jorriya.

As Jawad is shot on his wedding day, Zumrud breaks down over the death of her father and kills Gold. Jawad refuses to reveal who tried to kill him, and his health improves. Rashid arranges for Jorriya's kidnapping.

The people of the Levant receive Ibrahim Pasha's fleet, Jawad is surprised by the news of Jorriya's pregnancy, and Ismail manages Safiya's business. Ibrahim Pasha goes to visit Safiya's house.

Ibrahim Pasha issues a decision to take weapons from the public, Rashid burns Safiya’s shops, and Ismail’s mother dies. Jurios is involved in an illicit relationship with one of the Khan’s girls while arranging the burning of the Khan Al Dakka.

Zumrud is surprised by Jurios's love for Rachel. Ismail gets involved in a quarrel arranged by Rashid and is imprisoned. Rachel asks Yunus, one of Ibrahim Pasha's soldiers, to take revenge on Jurios for insulting her.

Jurios is imprisoned for killing Rachel, The Aghas refuse to receive the French and English consuls to the Levant, and Ismail is released after his rival drops the complaint. Narges kidnaps Issa.

Ismail becomes Jurios, and the Aghas spread discord between Muslims and Christians to implicate Hanna Bey. Narges kills Issa in front of the monastery and escapes after suspicions are raised against her.

Narges is arrested. Hadi, Safiya's son, returns from Istanbul, and Muhammad Ali Pasha decides to recruit the Levant's youth to fight in the war against the Sultan. Father Touma disappears, and Rashid thinks about marrying Halima, whom Ismail seeks to marry.

The people become angry when they blatantly accuse the youth of the Levant of kidnapping Pastor Touma. Suspicions are raised about the Jews due to the disappearance of Pastor Touma. Ismail discovers Rashid and Al Jorbaji’s intention to attack Sherif Pasha’s government after they get weapons.

The Jewish rabbis are arrested after their involvement in the case of Pastor Touma appears, and one of the Jews confesses to the killing of Pastor Touma by a Jewish group. Jawad discovers Al Jorbaji’s cooperation with the English consul against the government of Sherif Pasha.

The English Consul's pressure on Muhammad Ali Pasha to release those involved in the killing of Pastor Touma succeeded. Rashid kidnaps Ismail while he is trying to kill one of his aides.

Sherif Pasha's government does not find weapons with Rashid. Halima marries Rashid. Sherif Pasha's government begins implementing Muhammad Ali's decision to recruit the youth of the Levant. Abu Hashima does not comply with Rashid's orders, so he decides to kidnap Jorriya in retaliation against Ismail.

Jawad and some of Levant's youth hide in the Al-Muallaq Mosque, and Abu Hashima succeeds in kidnapping Sheikh Abdel Fattah, putting him under the control of Al Jorbaji. The search is still ongoing for Jawad and those with him to join the army.

Safiya is arrested after Rashid reports that she has helped the youth of the Levant to skip the army. Jawad and those with him hide in the monastery. Al Jorbaji is sure that Zumrud is the one behind the disappearance of the youth, and Rashid flees the Levant.

Abu Hamza and Jawad are arrested, Abu Hashima succeeds in kidnapping Joriyya, and Halima kills Abu Hashima. Al Jorbaji’s men succeed in besieging Sherif Pasha’s men, a quarrel breaks out between Al Jorbaji’s men and the people of the Levant, and Tahseen helps Joriyya to reach the monastery.

Sherif Pasha hands over the palace to Al Shorbaji, and Jawad succeeds in escaping from the palace. Jorriya dies after giving birth, Zumrud escapes and assumes the identity of Jorriya with her child, and Ismail’s fate remains unknown.
