The doctor's house is on fire as a result of the gas canister's explosion. As there is a suspicion of a planned crime, the officer interrogates the doctor's daughters and their husbands, Mahmoud, Galal, and Salem.

Haifa recalls the moment her father was burned inside the car at his home. Suspicions hover around Galal because of his need for money as well as his gambling, and the investigator is still trying to tie up the loose ends of the case to capture the criminal.

Mahmoud, Galal, and Salem, who indirectly accuses Galal of the doctor's murder, meet. Galal informs Mahmoud that Salem is mentally ill, and this is what his wife, Amal, told Haifa about him.

The officer orders a search for Hamid, who is then interrogated for theft of Salem's house, and he thinks that the investigator has suspicions about him, even though he is the complainant and the victim. Galal quarrels with his mother because she refuses to sell the house and give him money.

Sanaa asks Mahmoud to marry her because she loves him. In the meantime, the officer finds out that the doctor has found a cure for cancer, which makes him think that someone killed him because of the medicine.

As Helen feels sad about the doctor's death, especially after George told her that he suspects X Pharmaceutical Company is related to his death, he goes to the doctor's secretary to seize the research papers.

Galal is kidnapped by the mafia that assassinated the doctor and gives him a large sum of money in exchange for providing them with research on cancer treatment. When Helen learns about the matter, she fears for her life.

The officer asks the doctor's daughters to give him information about Hamid, as he suspects that he is the murderer. Hamid meets the doctor's secretary and threatens to kill her if she does not cooperate and give him the research. He also meets Helen to tell her that he knows why she is in Baghdad.

The secretary is afraid of Hamid and wants to hide from him so that he does not know where she lives. Elsewhere, Mahmoud faces a problem with his girlfriend, Sanaa, who wants him to marry her.

Hamid finds the secretary's residence, attacks her, threatens her, and takes the money that Helen gave her in return for handing over the doctor's research. Elsewhere, Galal informs Sausan about Mahmoud's relationship with Sanaa.

As Helen meets Hamid and the secretary to ask her to sell the research, George unexpectedly sees their meeting and gets angry at Helen. Meanwhile, Mahmoud and Salem believe that Galal has the research, and they inform the officer about it.

The officer interrogates the secretary about the gold watch he found with her, and Mahmoud and Salem are arrested. The secretary submits her resignation and finds that she cannot escape from Hamid despite her attempts.

Helen tells the officer that she has a son from the doctor and will tell his daughters about it. The officer investigates Galal's death. He also concludes that the secretary disguised herself, went to the doctor's house, and was with him on the accident day.

After all the incriminating evidence is in, the secretary is directly accused of killing the doctor. Meanwhile, George drugs Helen.

Zeenat, the secretary's sister, agrees with the officer to give George the research in exchange for money without her sister's knowledge. Helen dies from the drug that George gave her to get rid of her. The secretary is arrested for murdering the doctor and stealing his research.
