Salma asks Ra'ouf to wed her after they sleep together. Ra'ouf's manager, Khaled, tasks him with delivering a sum of money to Hassan and forces him to sign a promissory note. Hassan refuses to take part in the cannabis deal out of fear of Kamal, Ra'ouf's brother-in-law, who is a customs official.

Kamal pays the rent for Ra'ouf to prevent him from getting evicted. As Ra'ouf convinces Kamal to facilitate the entry of a shipment, Ra'ouf kills Hassam and Khaled and takes the money for himself. Kamal is arrested for facilitating the entry of cannabis and killing Hassan.

Detective Essam suspects that Kamal has been framed. Ra'ouf asks Salma to keep their marriage a secret. As Khaled's body is found, Salma claims that she didn't know the identity of his visitors. The forensics team lifts fingerprints from Khaled's office.

Kamal tells Ra'ouf to keep his involvement in the deal a secret. Nedal helps Kamal and promises Amal to arrange for a visit. When Salma tells Ra'ouf that she is pregnant, he tells her to get an abortion. Kamal is sentenced to 25 years of hard labor.

Kamal learns of his mother's death. Nedal provides for Kamal's family. Amal is angry with Nehal and her brother for doubting Kamal and suspecting that he kept the money hidden. Ra'ouf tries to drive a wedge between Nehal and Amal.

Kamal decides to divorce Nehal after she doubts him. Ra'ouf tells Radwa that Kamal left the money with Nedal. Nehal and her daughter vanish from her brother's place. Kamal tells Ra'ouf to stay away from Amal and Nedal. Nedal proposes to Amal and asks her to travel with him.

Years pass, and Kamal's release looms close. Amal is fearful of Kamal's reaction when he learns that Ra'ouf wed Nehal. Tarek asks Sahar to go back to Montaser, but she refuses and keeps working with Ra'ouf.

Nedal, Amal, and her son Ahmed wait for Kamal when he gets released. Ra'ouf decides to wed his son, Samer, to Abu Al-Majd's daughter in order to control the market. Kamal enlists Nedal's help in searching for his daughter Yara. Kamal is furious when he learns that Ra'ouf wed Nehal.

Kamal decides to prove his innocence to his daughter. Ahmed tells Yara that Kamal was released and that he is innocent. Kamal suspects that Ra'ouf is behind everything that happened.

Ra'ouf informs Nehal of Kamal's release and tells her to prevent Yara from seeing him. Mostafa helps Hanan with a school project, but her brother Samer gets angry with her when he sees them together. Yara asks Tarek for money to rent a house.

Ahmed tells Kamal that he saw Yara and that she is afraid to see him despite her love for him. Kamal searches for his case file. Ra'ouf is angry with Samer for neglecting the car dealership. Kamal starts looking for the driver Sa'dou and the secretary Soha.

Ahmed asks for some time off to help his uncle. Amal tells Nagwa that Kamal is innocent and that she should contact him, but Nagwa is afraid of Ra'ouf. Adnan tells Ra'ouf that Kamal got his case file and that he is searching for proof of his innocence.

Ra'ouf is angry with Nehal for leaving the house without his knowledge. Kamal locates the truck driver and tries to find any information about Sa'dou. Kamal passes out in front of Yara's school and she takes him to the hospital.

Kamal tells Yara about everything he went through. Yara tells Kamal that she wants to drop out of med school and enroll in the Acting Institute. Abu Atta asks to meet Kamal. Ra'ouf disapproves of Ahmed's relationship with Reham.

Sa'dou tells Kamal that he doesn't know the identity of Khaled's killer but remembers his car. As Kamal confirms that Ra'ouf is the killer, the latter kidnaps Sa'dou. Yara drops out of med school. Ahmed decides to confront Ra'ouf and tell him that he wants to wed Reham.

Ra'ouf asks Sa'dou to mislead Kamal in exchange for a job and a lot of money. Ra'ouf lies to Reham and tells her that Ahmed is married but it's unregistered. Yara tells Kamal that she loves Tarek. Ra'ouf sends someone to kill Sa'dou.

Reham tells Yara that she doesn't want to wed Ahmed. When Ra'ouf discovers that Samer is an addict, he cancels the procuration he gave Samer to run the dealership. Kamal is shocked to learn that Sa'dou was killed. Nedal tells Amal that he is still in love with her.

When Ra'ouf pays the hospital fees for Sahar's daughter after she gets poisoned, Tarek suspects that he has ulterior motives. Samer quarrels with his father. Ra'ouf is surprised when he learns that Tarek and Yara are in a relationship. Kamal finds Soha and asks her about what happened.

Ra'ouf learns that Soha was married to Khaled. Soha kicks Kamal out after Ra'ouf threatens to reveal the marriage to her current husband, Abdel Qader, if she talks to Kamal. Kamal learns that Ra'ouf is watching him and tries to find a way to get him to confess.

Reham breaks up with Ahmed. Nehal reflects on her marriage to Kamal and regrets what she has done. Nedal proposes to Amal. Shahd asks Tarek to marry her after they sleep together.

Mostafa grows close to Hanan. After Kamal meets Samer in the dealership, he is surprised to learn that Tarek works there. Adnan tells Ra'ouf that their drug shipment will arrive in a few days. Kamal meets Sahar and learns that she works for Ra'ouf.

After Safaa refuses to wed Samer, Ra'ouf insists on marrying him off to Abu Al-Majd's daughter. Yara tells Reham about everything Ra'ouf did to her father. Nehal is shocked to learn that Ra'ouf is the one who got Kamal imprisoned. Ahmed tells Samer that his father was a drug dealer.

Yara tells Tarek that Ra'ouf got her father imprisoned and wed her mother afterward. Kamal accidentally kills the man hired by Ra'ouf. Reham tells Ra'ouf that her mother went to see Yara at Kamal's house.

Tarek tells Sahar about everything he learned about Ra'ouf's past. Samer tells his mother that his father is the reason Kamal was imprisoned. Kamal uses the dead man's phone to send Ra'ouf a message, making him believe that he is still following Kamal.

Mostafa learns that Hanan's mother is sick. Ra'ouf asks Reham to take over the management of the car dealership. Kamal tells Ra'ouf that he knows that he sent Abu Rakan to kill him. Ra'ouf denies having anything to do with Kamal's imprisonment while talking to Radwa.

Tarek tells Yara that he will send his sister Sahar to ask for Yara's hand. As Samer takes Safaa to show her his land, they get in an accident and Samer leaves Safaa bleeding in the car. Sahar asks to meet Kamal.

Mostafa confesses his feelings for Hanan. Ra'ouf tries to convince Nehal of Kamal's guilt. Tarek quits his job. Ra'ouf tries to seduce Sahar's sister, Masa. Nehal passes out and Kamal takes her to the hospital.

Mostafa's mother, Salma, is shocked when she learns that he is in love with Ra'ouf's daughter. As Salma adamantly opposes the marriage, Hanan breaks down when Mostafa doesn't show up to ask for her hand. When Ra'ouf assaults Sahar's sister, Sahar decides to help Kamal take revenge on Ra'ouf.

Sahar tells Kamal that Ra'ouf is trading in stolen diamonds. Ra'ouf insults Hanan and tells her to forget about Mostafa. Kamal informs the district attorney of a suspicious shipment coming through the borders. Yara weds Tarek.

Ra'ouf threatens Sahar and asks her to help him bring Kamal down. Kamal accompanies Mostafa to question Salma about the reason she disapproves of his marriage to Hanan. Ahmed tells Ra'ouf that Saher is in a bad condition and that Nehal hired him to file for abdicative divorce (khula).

Kamal learns that Mostafa and Hanan are siblings and that Salma was Khaled's secretary. Rahaf escapes Sahar and goes to Ra'ouf. Radwa and Ra'ouf go to Salma's house, but Mostafa kicks them out.

Salma tells Kamal that Ra'ouf told her not to go to the company after Khaled was killed. After Ra'ouf tries to kill Salma, he gets arrested and his fingerprints are matched to the old case. As Tarek kills Ra'ouf, Kamal decides to take the fall and dies in the hospital.
