In the wake of Hassan's death, Fathallah asks Youssef to leave Al-Safwaniya, but Youssef refuses to heed the advice. Youssef sets Harun's land on fire.

Ekhlas visits Nasra to gloat about Hassan's death. Youssef dons a disguise as a veiled woman to protect his children from Harun's wrath.

As Youssef sets Harun's barn on fire, he also shoots Hemdan, Harun's son, but he only injures his shoulder.

When everyone sees Zanaty with a gun in hand, they arrest him and take him to Harun. Harun discovers that Zanaty's gun is the weapon that was used to shoot Hemdan. Ekhlas is suspicious of this turn of events.

Nasra asks Zainab to use the money she inherited from her father to partner up with her. Yehia accuses his brother Hemdan of causing the death of three members of Al-Sha'abna family.

After Yehia accuses Hemdan of murder, Ekhlas goes to Yehia's house to admonish him and his mother. Harun rebukes Yehia for his accusation and tells him to change his ways.

As Youssef hides in Harun's house, he ties him up after breaking into his room. After Youssef tortures Harun, he tries to shoot him, only to discover that his gun has no bullets. Harun manages to get out of his binds and yells for his son.

Thinking that he had killed Harun, Youssef flees to Cairo, only for Fathallah to tell him that Harun is still alive. When Harun gets his son Yehia transferred to the prosecution office in Marsa Matruh, Yehia decides to quit and become a lawyer instead.

Nasra opens her new company. Harun visits Al-Shenawy Pasha to get him to convince the governor to take his eyes off Harun's island. Ekhlas incites her husband to kill his brother Yehia.

When Harun and Hemdan learn that Fathallah is the one who hid Youssef, they decide to take revenge on him. The security chief informs the governor that the ministry has approved the raid on the island.

Hassaan burns Nasra's delivery trucks. Haniya accuses her ex-husband of kidnapping her son. Hemdan tortures Fathallah to get him to reveal Youssef's location.

Harun promises to let Fathallah go if he reveals Youssef's location. When Harun keeps his word and lets him go, Fathallah calls Youssef and asks him to return to town.

Hemdan sets a trap to catch Youssef. As Youssef arrives in town, Hemdan catches him with the help of the head watchman, but Youssef manages to escape after seizing the head watchman's gun.

Rashida visits Yehia to tell him that he has to take revenge on Harun and Hemdan if he wishes to marry Alia. When the people of the island attack the security forces, the security chief decides to get his forces to withdraw.

Nasra devises a plan to catch those who burned down her cars and merchandise. Harun celebrates his men for fighting off the police.

As Nasra arrests Hashem and his men, she asks him to record his conversation with Hassaan Al-Qenawy to prove that the latter is responsible for what happened to her merchandise and cars.

Nasra makes a deal with Hashem and his men to burn Hassaan's cars and steal his merchandise as he did to her. Ekhlas quarrels with Hemdan and sues him for abdicative divorce (khula).

As Nasra visits Hassaan to inform him that she is behind what happened to his cars and merchandise, she also informs him that she has a record of him confessing to burning her merchandise.

Hemdan sends Fathiya to convince Ekhlas to reconcile with him, but Ekhlas refuses Fathiya's attempt and insists on continuing with her plans.

Ayash and Saleh monitor Youssef. When Ayash tells Harun that he found out Youssef's location, Harun asks him to stay on his tail. Harun visits Mourad and tells him that he is the one who got him imprisoned.

When a suitor proposes to Haniya, she agrees to marry him and tells her family. Nasra celebrates her daughter Alia's engagement. Rashida hires women to beat Haniya.

Nasra launches a charity and names it after her late son Hassan. When Nasra gets people to fill Ekhlas's cement warehouse with water, Ekhlas grows mad and mistakenly thinks that Hemdan is behind what happened.

When Harun discovers that Zainab is Nasra's partner, he vows revenge on her. When Nasra discovers that someone is following her, she manages to catch him and teach him a lesson.

Hemdan celebrates his marriage in a lavish ceremony. Nasra sends Ayash to Harun in a sack, telling his men that the sack contains a gift for Harun.

Hemdan gets in various fights with his new wife as he takes his anger out on her. As Haniya torments her step-daughter, the girl complains to her father.

Ekhlas informs her son Saleh of the date of her marriage and asks him to tell his father. Yehia gets in a car accident after an unknown pursuer chases him.

As Yehia wakes up from his coma, he finds Nasra and Harun by his bedside. Alia breaks off her engagement and tells her fiancé that she is still in love with Yehia.

As Harun kidnaps Zainab's son, he threatens that she will never see him again unless she dissolves her partnership with Nasra. Saleh weds Haniya's sister, Farha.

When Nasra discovers that Hemdan is the one who sent people to kill his brother Yehia, she informs Harun who whips Hemdan as a punishment. As Hassaan hires a guy to kill Nasra, her friend ends up getting shot instead.

Nasra gets Hashem and his men to look for the guy who tried to kill her. When Hashem locates him, Nasra asks him to teach him a harsh lesson. Hemdan sends men to beat Karim.

Yehia marries Alia. Zainab dissolves her partnership with Nasra. Nasra goes to Mecca for pilgrimage (hajj). Hemdan gets back together with his ex-wife Ekhlas.

Harun gives Zainab's son to the outlaws to raise. When Zainab tries to see her son Farag, Harun kicks her out. As Zainab tries to stab Harun, she only injures his arm. Zainab dies in prison.

Harun discovers that his wife Fathiya is the one leaking his secrets to his rival, Abbas Damarany. As he vows revenge, Harun asks Ayash to kill Fathiya.

The police arrest Ayash while in possession of hash. When Harun visits the incarcerated Ayash, the latter informs him that his son Hemdan eagerly awaits his death.

Harun has nightmares that all his victims have returned to get revenge on him. Ekhlas asks Samah's father to bring his daughter to work as a maid, while she hides her plan to torment her.

After Farag tries to escape the island several times, Harun takes Farag to Zainab so that she could raise him. But Zainab seizes the chance to torture Farag.

When Ekhlas uses a rod to burn Samah's hand, Samah sets herself on fire, but makes sure to have Ekhlas catch fire. As Samah dies, Alia visits Ekhlas.

When Harun discovers that Zainab is torturing his grandson Farag, he takes him and beats Zainab before leaving. Nasra decides to buy the lands and houses of Al-Sha'abna family in order to sue Harun.

Nasra gets a call from a friend of Youssef's, informing her that Youssef is still alive. As Nasra meets her husband after his release from prison, she shares the good news with her children.

Nasra sends Hashem and his men to kidnap Hemdan's son, Saleh, and bury him alive in a grave. Rashida encourages her father to avenge her brother Hassan, asking him to go back to town to get revenge.

Nasra asks the security chief to protect her and Youssef so that they could return to Al-Safwaniya. As the security chief pledges to protect them, Harun grows angry.

As Harun hires a hitman to kill Youssef, the hitman kills Youssef upon his return to town. Seven years later, Harun's grandson, Farag, insists on whipping a man in front of his family.

Al-Shenawy asks Harun to vote in favor of a piece of legislation in the parliament. When Harun refuses, his refusal starts a war between the two men.

When Hemdan is arrested for searching for antiquities, the policeman forces him to sign a confession to guarantee that Hemdan would work for him.

When Salem vows revenge on Harun, Nasra sends her men to catch up to Salem before it's too late. Farag kidnaps Basma and forces her into a car.

Farag rapes Basma after taking her to a remote area. As Basma wakes up after the incident and returns home, she tries to set herself on fire, but her mother prevents her from going through with it.

Basma's family informs the island's chief, Siofy, that Farag raped Basma. When they demand for Farag to wed Basma, Siofy decides to interfere to resolve the situation.

Rashida quarrels with her husband, Ahmed, over the journalist who is working with him. Hima, the son Diab had with a belly dancer, takes part in the celebrations commemorating Islamic saints.

In the wake of what Farag did, Siofy asks Musa to wed Basma. Musa agrees under pressure from Siofy. Yehia helps to reconcile Rashida and Alia.

Nasra decides to build a factory to provide the members of Al-Sha'abna family with jobs. When she goes to get the governor's approval, Harun sees her and asks the governor not to approve her project.

Siofy holds Musa and Basma's wedding, which is attended by her former sweetheart and her rapist Farag. Rashida encourages her husband to attack Harun in his newspaper.

As Alia gets her Ph.D., Nasra throws a lavish celebration. The police officer threatens to imprison Hima if he refuses to work as his informant.

When Saleh runs into Hima, the latter's resemblance to Saleh's own uncle, Diab, catches his attention, prompting him to inform his father Hemdan about Hima.

Salem hires men to burn Harun's boat. Nasra quarrels with the governor after he refuses to give her a piece of land to build her factory. Nasra vows to build the project in spite of the governor.

As Hemdan looks for his nephew Hima, he sends his men to look everywhere for him. When he finally locates Wedad, the woman who raised Hima, he kidnaps her and gets her to reveal Hima's location.

As Hemdan poisons Wedad, he sends his henchmen to burn down Hima's circus and kidnap him. As Hemdan's henchmen tie Hima up and throw him into the sea, he manages to save himself.

Harun comes up with a plot to bring Al-Shenawy down. The police officer asks Hemdan to find a group of terrorists after they manage to flee into the mountain.

As Farag and Siofy catch the terrorists, Farag ends up shooting them after releasing them and encouraging them to escape. The police arrest Al-Shenawy.

When the police arrest Hemdan for dealing in antiquities, Harun talks to the sheriff and manages to get Hemdan released. The court rules in Nasra's favor and enables her to seize the lands and houses of Al-Sha'abna family.

Harun sends men to beat Salem. As Nasra brings a police force to get the lands that the court afforded her, Harun refuses to give up the lands and threatens to paint Al-Safwaniya red if anyone tries to take what is his.
