Adapted from a classic 1930 William Faulkner novel, the Bundren family leave their farm and travel through the Mississippi countryside on their carriage to bury the deceased mother, Addie, in her hometown. Their journey is disrupted by many hostile forces of nature as well as every member's inner trumoil (expressed in narrative dialogues) which togehter threaten the family's union with every step.
