Jassem is a train conductor, who is married to Zahra. Eid's mother tries to get him married, while he works with his friend Ramadan.

Ramadan and Eid decide to go fishing and sell what they'll catch, so Eid's mother tells the neighbors that her son is a fisherman. As Jassem works as a taxi driver, he picks up an eccentric man, who has returned to Baghdad after several years of being abroad.

On the train, Jassem meets a woman who is waiting for her son, a groom. While working as a taxi driver, he meets a strange man who spoils his day.

Wesal asks Tariq to find a solution for her so that she can refuse to marry her cousin. Eid and Ramadan work as share taxi drivers, but they misbehave.

The police arrest Jassem while they are chasing a smuggler after they find a bag of drugs in his car. Zahra and her children look for Jassem everywhere.

Jassem's family learns that he is in prison. Eid and Ramadan take Fakhri's car to use it at work behind his back.

Jassem refuses to get out of prison after the judge orders his release. Eid and Ramadan land in many ridiculous situations while working as taxi drivers.

Jassem's condition worsens, especially his mental state, whereupon Zahra grows anxious and asks her children to find a solution for their father. Tariq and Hamad go again to the police station to talk to their father.

Jassem is released from the detention prison after the prisoners insist that he go out. Eid and Ramadan earn money, and Fakhri is injured, so Eid takes him to the hospital.

Jassem returns to work as a taxi driver. Eid discovers that the money he won is counterfeit. Souad goes to Wesal's mother to tell her that her daughter is in a relationship with Tariq.

Tariq tries to find out who has blew the gaff on his relationship with his girlfriend and grows suspicious of Souad. Mahmoud gets exhausted after working as a construction worker.

Eid decides to separate from Ramadan and work alone. A woman kidnaps Mahmoud and thinks that he is her son, whom she lost during the war.

Mahmoud leaves work, while Eid stops working as a photographer and decides to return to work with his friend Ramadan.

Zahra falls ill, and Jassem reluctantly goes to work, while Souad tries to find out information about Wesal's relationship with Tariq.

Jassem quarrels with a woman on the train because she lost her travel card. He also discovers that Ramadan has stolen his car during his absence.

Eid is imprisoned for being in the house of a woman who died while delivering food to her, and he is released after his innocence is proven. Jassem is imprisoned with his son Mahmoud on charges of selling fuel surreptitiously.

Eid works as a shoeshiner but fails. Ramadan steals fuel from Jassem's car, and Jassem quarrels with him when he finds out.

The doctor examines Zahra because of her severe illness, and Jassem decides to send her with his brother to her family to get some rest.

Zahra dies after suffering from illness and longing for her husband and children, and the family is deeply saddened.

Jassem meets a young woman and decides to give her a ride after many drivers refused the matter due to her extra weight, and he likes her.

Jassem gets attached to Reem and complains to his friend about loneliness. Ramadan quarrels with Mahmoud.

The relationship between Jassem and Reem grows stronger. Mahmoud works for a butcher in his area, but the latter fires him.

Jassem spends his time with Reem, while Mahmoud suspects that his father is seeing a woman, but Jassem denies it.

The relationship between Reem and Jassem deepens. Jassem discovers that Mahmoud smokes and scolds him, and Atika quarrels with him.

Jassem asks Reem to tell her father that he wants to marry her in secret for fear of his children's reaction. Mahmoud is fired from his job in a TV repair shop.

Jassem is arrested after a passenger loses consciousness in his car after taking narcotic pills, and Reem and his children look for him.

Jassem is released from prison after he is proved innocent, after which he goes to Reem's house to ask for her hand in marriage.

Reem's father accepts Jassem's request to marry her, and Wesal's mother mocks Tariq because of Mahmoud's actions.

Reem's father suggests that Jassem live with him in his house on the top floor. Ramadan takes photos of Reem and Jassem while being together.

Mahmoud's attempts to bother Reem and Jassem fail, and the couple decide to get married in a big wedding.
