A special effects expert is hired to stage a real-life killing for a witness protection plan, but he finds himself in danger.
When Ronnie gets involved in the hunt for a killer, the last thing he expects is for his girlfriend's ex, who is a cop, to get killed. As the murder is pinned on the killer they were looking for, Ronnie grows suspicious and conducts his own investigation with the help of a friend.
