Jennifer works two jobs; she helps her father with his glass-bottom boat business by dressing as a mermaid, in addition to working at an aerospace research lab. As an accident makes her meet Bruce, a top exec at her second job, he falls for her, yet Bruce's friend is convinced that Jennifer is a Russian spy.
