In the nineties, Ashour runs a farm with his two brothers a few kilometers from the capital Algeria. However, during an attack by terrorists, Ashour's family gets killed but his wife Houria succeeds in escaping and saving the children. Houria seeks refuge from her family in Algeria, but conflicts soon appear.
