As Umm Soliman (Soliman's mother) learns that her son Ghanem has impregnated a woman without marrying her, she saves the baby from drowning. Her husband Abu Soliman (Soliman's father) kicks Ghanem out. Umm Alia (Alia's mother) searches for her daughter. Salem rescues Hamda.

Abu Rashid (Rashid's father) tells Man'ei not to pay attention to Alia's elopement with Soliman. Abu Rashid quarrels with his wife. Man'ei incites Abdullah's hatred towards Soliman and his father. A scorching fire breaks out in Abu Ibrahim's (Ibrahim's father) farm.

Alia and Soliman stay at Umm Wadhan's. Abdullah meets Soliman's father to tell him about what Soliman did to Alia. Umm Salem tells Hamda that she saw Maytha's son at Umm Soliman's house. Sheikha tells her father that Soliman treats her coldly and discards her as a wife.

Abu Soliman learns that his son, Ghanem, tried to drown Bekheit and beat Hamda up. Man'ei and Abdullah learn where Alia and Soliman are.

Soliman lies about Alia being his sister, and he asks Umm Dahy to travel with them to meet his father. Abdullah and Man'ei find Umm Dahy's house, while Man'ei sneaks into Alia's room.

Man'ei tricks Soliman and Alia into believing he's helping them evade Abdullah. Mas'oud learns that Soliman and Alia aren't brother and sister. Hamda is displeased when Umm Nasser suggests that Wadha should marry Mattar now that Ahmed is dead.

Alia tells Soliman not to trust Man'ei. Mas'oud reprimands Soliman for choosing to elope with Alia. Man'ei works in the sea with Sultan. Mattar tells Ghanem that his parents bear the scars of his departure and have only gotten worse ever since.

Abdullah learns that his mother is still alive. Abu Khaled (Khaled's father) learns that Elwan has been stealing the honey. As Soliman and Alia run away, Abdullah shows up, hits Soliman with his car, and takes Alia back home.

Abu Soliman learns that Soliman and Ghanem are alive. Alia runs away from home. Ghanem crosses paths with Mayzoun, Sultan's daughter.

Sultan takes Soliman sailing on their boat and decides to offer him help once he gets a house. Abu Rashid convinces Abdullah to turn himself in to the police for trying to kill Soliman.

Abdullah searches for Soliman. Alia's mother passes away. Salem quarrels with Fahd over his relationship with Fatema, as Salem wants to wed her.

Abu Rashid tries to rape Alia but Abdullah saves her. Abu Rashid divorces his wife. Mas'oud looks after Soliman, who's still working on Sultan's boat. Salem's father quarrels with him over his involvement with Fatema and Fahd.

Soliman's mother refuses to let him back in the house. Salem enlists Man'ei's help to marry Fatema, blissfully unaware that Man'ei also wants to propose to her.

Salem tells Hamda he wants to marry Fatema. Man'ei incites Salem's suspicion that his aunt Hamda is seeing Mattar. Sheikha reprimands Alia for her relationship with the former's husband, Soliman, and her stay at his father's house.

Umm Soliman reproaches Alia for running away with Soliman. Sheikha's father passes away. Salem learns that his father will mediate to wed Fatema to Fahd. Sultan asks his assistant to monitor Ghanem.

Abu Rashid regrets divorcing his wife. When Man'ei meets Sultan, Ghanem feels there's something fishy about their encounter.

Soliman recuperates and gains consciousness. Ghanem and Sultan agree to allow Sultan to run Ghanem's sea business. Nasser tells Mayzoun he loves her.

Sultan wants to set up a mosque in the neighborhood. Mariam tells her mother that Soliman gained consciousness and is going to testify for Abdullah to get him out of prison.

Abu Rashid tells his son he wants to get married, but he gets back with Umm Rashid. Mattar believes that Sultan is using his money to earn people's loyalty. Man'ei stirs discord between Fahd and Salem. He tells his sister Wadha that Fatema is of ill repute.

Fahd tells Mattar of his clash with Man'ei. Ghanem learns that Sultan has a woman called Nessma locked up in his house. Fatema tells her mother she doesn't want to marry Man'ei.

Umm Soliman tells her husband that their daughter doesn't want to marry Man'ei. Ghanem is shocked when Sultan meets up and asks about his sister. Ghanem starts to meet Nessma behind Sultan's back.

Wadha tells Man'ei that Alia doesn't want him for a husband. Abu Soliman tries to figure out whether the baby is his son Ghanem's.

Sultan tells Ghanem he wants to buy all the houses of the villagers. Abu Man'ei (Man'ei's father) kicks his son out when he assaults Alia. Soliman doesn't testify against Abdullah. Sultan tells Malek that he will wed his daughter to Man'ei.

Sheikha feels remorseful for being unjust to Alia; she allows her to see Soliman. Fatema overhears her brother's conversation with Man'ei and learns he's behind his injury.

Fatema tells her father that Man'ei is the reason Soliman got injured. Wadha gives birth. Soliman passes away.

Alia lives through hell as Soliman passes away. Man'ei and Sultan resume their plot to buy more houses. Malek tries to convince Nessma to give him the keys to the room or elope with him, but Sultan catches him.

Abu Soliman tells Ghanem that it wasn't Abdullah who hit Soliman. Soliman's mother is bedridden following the death of her son. Man'ei incites Ghanem against Abdullah.

Ghanem decides to run away with Nessma and Sultan locks him up in a trunk. Man'ei convinces Salem to work with Sultan so that he can easily marry Fatema.

Abu Nasser reprimands his son for wanting to marry Sultan's daughter, Mayzoun. The family futilely tries to find Ghanem. Sultan tells Man'ei he has Ghanem locked up. Umm Soliman passes away.

Mayzoun runs away with Nasser. Man'ei tries to flee when it is learned he caused Soliman's death. Man'ei kills Sultan and becomes a lunatic. As years pass, Mattar and Hamda get married, and Alia's love for Soliman is still as strong as ever. Alia kills Man'ei.
