Nabil's mother asks him to find himself a wife, especially since he's getting older. As Nabil's mother despairs, she seeks the help of her friend, Etidal, to find her son a wife. Nabil asks for Nabila's hand in marriage and tries to get closer to her.

The wedding of Nabil and Nabila takes place, after which they travel on their honeymoon. Nabil is surprised that Nabila sleeps constantly during the honeymoon, and he goes crazy and tries to wake her up more than once, but to no avail, then he returns to Cairo.

Nabil goes to the doctor under a different name to check on himself and the doctor tells him that he is fine. Nabil takes his sister-in-law to college, where she finds out that she has flunked two subjects, so she tells the family that Nabil has jinxed them.

As Nabila quarrels with her mother-in-law, she complains to her sister, who tells her that she warned her from the start not to live in one apartment with her mother-in-law. Nabil tries to reconcile his wife and mother. Nabila's sister gets married.

When Nabila faints at work, her friend takes her to the hospital. Nabil rejoices when the doctor tells him that his wife is pregnant. Nabila's sister's husband provokes Nabil, telling him that he's willing to invite him on a trip to Paris, especially since he's aware of his financial situation.

Dr. Mamoun Salah asks Nabil for many things to include in his master’s thesis that he is supervising. Nesma, Omar Salah’s secretary, asks him for a sum of money as a loan, but he refuses. Nesma sneaks into Omar’s office at night, photographs documents, and causes him to lose a tender.

Nabila asks her husband, Nabil, to come up with a new idea for a tea commercial, but he strongly refuses. As Omar discovers that Nesma is the one who caused him to lose the tender, he decides to take revenge on her.

Nabil quarrels with Omar after he lied to the family about Nabil's idea for the tea commercial. Nabila gives birth and Nabil is delighted to welcome his first son.

Nabila asks her sister, Najla, to have her husband, Omar, exchange dollars for her. As Omar learns, he gives her a lower price than the market, whereupon Nabila finds out and tells her that Omar is a thief.

Najla tells Omar that Nesma comes to her daily to look after her, especially since she is in the last months of pregnancy. As Omar warns his wife about Nesma, Najla suspects that he's having an affair with Nesma.

The relationship between Najla and her husband becomes strained again because of Nesma. Nabil quarrels with Nabila, who asks him to get them their own apartment to live in with their son.

Farah tells her boyfriend, Mansour, to ask for her hand from her father, especially since she has been patient about their relationship for a long time. Nabil tries to mend his relationship with his wife again.

Nabila appears on a TV program and tries to fix her relationship with her husband by sending him a love message on the air. Najla gives birth to her and Omar's baby.

Nabila shoots an advertisement for Omar Salah's company. Dr. Mamoun asks Nabil to appear with him on a cultural program to talk about his book and history.

As a new maid comes to the house of Bolbol and his wife, she tries to draw Nabil's attention more than once to her, so Nabila scolds her. Dr. Aref asks for Miss Farah's hand in marriage from her father.

Abdel Maqsoud asks Omar to make his children appear in his company's ads. Dr. Mamoun asks for additional things from Nabil in his master's thesis that he is supervising.

Nabil participates as a guest at a cultural seminar. As his fellow intellectuals quarrel, Nabil tries to put a stop to the fight, but he ends up receiving a severe beating. Yasser flirts with Farah at work, but she gives him an inkling of her being in a relationship.

Omar takes revenge on Nesma with the help of his friend, who hires some thugs who break into Nessma's apartment, threaten her with weapons, and obtain a trust receipt for a large sum from her.

Houria and Abdel Maqsoud's children get sick after they eat food that their mother sent them via the delivery service. As Nabila once again grows suspicious of Nabil, he tries his best to distance himself from these suspicions.

Nabila walks in on Nabil talking on the phone with Shahinaz and arranging a date with her, so Nabila goes crazy and quarrels with him. Mansour asks for Farah's hand in marriage and her father agrees.

As Abdel Maqsoud asks his father-in-law that he work with him in managing his restaurant, Madkour agrees. Shahinaz tries again to get close to Nabil, who reciprocates her feelings.

When Nabila sees her husband, Nabil, sitting with Shahinaz, she quarrels with him then leaves. As Nabil gets his master's degree with distinction, Dr. Mamoun announces the matter to all those present.

Elham, Nabila's close friend who was living abroad, returns. Mansour marries his beloved Farah in a wedding ceremony that everyone attends.

Farah asks her husband, Mansour, to get her an apartment away from his sisters. Nazim threatens Nabila because of their work together. Nabil asks his wife to leave work and become a full-time mother, but she refuses.

Shahinaz tries to get close to Nabil again, but he rebuffs her this time. Farah quarrels with her husband, Mansour. Nabil is arrested on charges of drug trafficking.

Nabila tries to prove her husband's innocence and talks with a famous lawyer to plead in his defense. Nabil tells his wife that his partnership with Atris was in the pet trade and that he knew nothing about his drug dealing.

The police arrest Nessma. As Nabila proves her husband's innocence, Nabil gets released after Atris confesses that he has nothing to do with the drug matter.

Mansour tries to get close to an old woman because of her money. Mansour quarrels with Omar Salah and tells him that he will not work for him again. Farah tells her parents that she wants to end her marriage with Mansour.

As Najla learns the nature of her husband's relationship with Nesma, she confronts him and asks him for a divorce. Omar goes to Nesma in prison, to negotiate with her to drop the paternity suit she brought against him, but she refuses. Omar confesses to his wife that he cheated on her.

Mansour marries the old lady to seize her money. Houria quarrels with her husband for watching porn. Shahinaz sends Nabil a message that Nabila reads, then she leaves the house. Madkour's girls gather in their father’s house as they are angry with their husbands, so he tries to solve their problems.
