Joe Clay works in public relations, and his work conditions require him to drink alcohol with guests until his tolerance for drinking becomes very high. Joe met his secretary, Kirsten, who does not tolerate drinking but is addicted to chocolate. After they fall in love, get married, and have a baby girl, Kirsten becomes forced to drink with Joe to cope with the pressures of work.
