After Kim Byeong-Gook kills his entire family without any prior motive and then disappears without leaving a trace, homicide detective Hong Ji-Seon takes over the investigation and searches for any clues for the killer. However, he suspects that the killer's colleagues are hiding something from him, in addition to his suspicion of the close relationship between Byeong-Gook and a girl, who is his intern.
