Connor struggles at school with bullies and at home with his mother's sickness. He starts fighting his feelings of guilt and anger and facing those who bully him at school. However, his biggest problem is his inability to tell the truth and to acknowledge problems, so Connor seeks the help of a tree monster to overcome his problems.
