Coinciding with the outbreak of World War II; as Prince Omar Shehab's wife dies of illness, her sister decides to strike a deal with him to marry her so that she can take care of her niece, and their relationship soon grows into love.

A look inside the mysterious character of Prince Omar, and the rebellious nature of his sick wife's sister, Farah. Set at a crucial time in the history of Lebanon, during the mandate, it extends until the 1930's where both palaces and villages existed.
