Shawqi goes to pick up a group of mentally ill people and transports them to Abbasiya Hospital. Massad and Masada travel to Cairo in search of work. Awni escapes from the police, while Haridy accuses Ezzat of insanity.

Ezzat, Arafa, and another person escape from the transport vehicle to the Abbasiya Hospital for the mentally ill. Shawqi resorts to luring three passersby, Kamel, Awni and Massad into the car to replace the fugitives. Awni takes the opportunity to hide from the police inside the hospital.

The police are looking for Awni; Magdy ends up working in a restaurant; Arafa tries to find his ex-wife who ruined his life; Kamel fails to prove that he is a sane person.

Masada continues to search for Massad. Magdy causes a disaster in the restaurant and while he is running away, Nevin hits him with her car. Ezzat returns to his mother Amina's house to hide.

Nevin takes Magdy to her home to receive treatment, while Helmy plans to marry her and lay hands on her inheritance. Kamel, Massad and Awni's plan to escape from the hospital fails.

As Magdy recovers from his coma and discovers his amnesia, Raouf suspects that he is spying on him for his enemies. Salawi catches Massad while trying to escape.

Arafa chases Saeed El Koumi in an attempt to reach his wife, Souad, so he breaks into their house and holds them at gunpoint to get his son Ahmed. Qamar accuses Jamalat of assaulting her.

As Jamalat is imprisoned, Zeinhom asks Qamar to drop the charges, so Qamar requires Jamalat to drop her case against Awni in return. Ezzat reproaches Atiyat for her engagement to someone else in his absence.

When Haridy and his men attack Amina's house in search of Ezzat to take him back to Abbasiya Hospital, Ezzat confronts them with his rifle. Arafa and Yahya steal all the money in Saeed's house.

The mayor attacks Ezzat in an attempt to arrest him, so he shoots them and they flee. Ezzat makes a treaty with the chief of the mountain against Haridy and the mayor.

Shafiqa and Hana are looking for Kamel after his disappearance for several days. Nevin gets closer to Magdy. The police arrest Masada on charges of begging and deport her to Minya.

Salawi discovers that Awni is a thief fleeing from the police. As a new doctor, Samia, comes to the hospital, Kamel and Massad tell her that they are not insane, but their plan fails when Awni pretends to be insane and lies for fear of being discharged then arrested by the police.

Ezzat accuses Hammam, the chief of the mountain, of selling him out to Haridy and the mayor. Magdy asks for a large sum of money from Raouf to drop his case against Nevin. Awni imposes his power over the hospital and controls El Salawi.

Ezzat captures Haridy after revealing his plan with Hammam to get rid of him. Samia investigates El Salawi's assault on the patients. Ezzat releases Haridy after exposing him to the townsfolk.

Kamel asks a visitor to call his wife and tell her what happened, but she refuses to believe him after discovering that he is one the patients in the hospital. Haridy asks to be reconciled with Ezzat, but the latter refuses unless Haridy returns his father's land to him.

Ezzat rejects Haridy's offer to acquire another land that is larger than the one seized from his father. Awni takes advantage of the visits received by patients and steals their money along with El Salawi.

As Awni exploits his influence and blackmails Shawqi and El Salawi, he leaves the hospital to meet Qamar. Kamel's condition deteriorates in the hospital.

Massad tells Kamel and Awni his story of selling everything he owned to travel to Cairo and obtain a visa to the Gulf. Awni discovers that Shawqi and Abu Saree have stolen Massad's money.

Haridy decides to marry Atiyat off to Hassanein. Nevin tries to help Magdy recover his old memory. Arafa asks for money from El Maghrabi after causing him to go to prison.

Amina tries to convince Jabeisi of Haridy's plot to get him to kill Ezzat and Atiyat. Nevin finds bombs and weapons hidden inside Magdy's wheelchair. Massad and Kamel escape from the hospital.

Magdy and Nevin devise a plan to reveal the identity of the person who hid the weapons inside the wheelchair. As Massad and Kamel go to the police station, they hand them back to the hospital. Awni attacks his father and forces him to sign all his property over to him.

Arafa finds his son Ahmed; Salawi tortures Massad and Kamel after they escape; Nevin and Magdy discover that Raouf has hidden the bombs inside the chair.

Magdy regains his memory, telling Nevin what happened to him and his father in the past. Kamel's wife, Shafiqa, has an ad aired on a TV program, and discovers that he is in the mental hospital. Kamel's condition deteriorates and he dies before Shafiqa's arrival, while the police arrest Awni.
