After their school's current principal steps down, Vice Principals Neal Gamby and Lee Russell have their eyes set on the newly vacant position. But their dreams get shattered when the new principal, Dr. Belinda Brown, is appointed instead.

When Dr. Brown hires someone to evaluate Gamby and Russell, they start to get furious as they invade her privacy.

In an attempt to get closer to teacher Amanda, Gamby decides to go on a field trip organized by Mr. Hayden.

In another attempt to take down Dr. Brown, Russell thinks that the homecoming football game is a good chance to do the trick.

Dr. Brown asks Gamby to soften his disciplinary methods, while Russell runs into a problem with a disturbing neighbor.

Amanda and Gamby reach an agreement, while Dr. Brown enlists the help of a veteran teacher to find a shipment of missing books.

Gamby and Amanda get closer at the teacher's workday. Dr. Brown grapples with the surprise visit of her ex-husband, Dascious. Russell loses his patience when he sees Dr. Brown's sons.

Gamby has a difficult choice to make after Dr. Brown makes him a surprise offer, while his relationship with Amanda becomes at risk after he finds out about her previous affair with Hayden.

Gamby and Russell's war against Dr. Brown comes to a final point as they blackmail her, which causes a dramatic change on the school staff.
