Sixteen Americans end up stranded on the uninhabited remote Malaysian island of Pulau Tiga, where they are divided into two tribes of eight: Tagi and Pagong.

Ramona is thirsty, and B.B. is unable to stop working. Greg and Colleen are fast becoming friends.

Stacey is still attempting to get rid of Rudy and form a girl's alliance, but Sue refuses to join the group.

After being sick, Ramona's condition improves. She makes an attempt to join in group activities, and Rich forms a four-person alliance.

Instead of working at camp, Dirk and Sean are still attempting to catch fish.

Both tribes ponder the merge, while the girls are insulted by Gervase's remark and Richard is walking around without any cloth.

The Pagong and Taji tribes are merged into one, but the Pagong are still disorganized.

The remaining members of the former Pagong tribe feel unsafe after the vote for Gretchen's exit.

Rich's bizarre behavior on his birthday makes the girls uncomfortable, while the others discover that no one voted him out.

The Taji alliance is considering replacing Kelly with Sean since he could be more useful, while one of the castaways receives good news.

Following Kelly's acts last week, the alliance aims to fight her, while Sean gets an unexpected visit.

A member of Tagi's alliance is eventually voted out; Rich attempts to get Kelly out; Sue and Kelly clash with each other.

As the last four players discuss the impact of the game on them, a vote to remove Kelly is decided, and the Sole Survivor shall be revealed.

The 16 participants who took part throughout the course of the show get together for a reunion with Bryant Gumbel.
