As Vice President Selina Meyer decides on a main project to pursue in Washington, a series of mishaps land her in trouble as both she and her staff inadvertently compromise her image.

When Selina is left in charge with the president out of the country, she looks to take advantage of the situation to push her own agenda, but she ends up angering the owners of a yogurt store after she misses her media appearance at their store.

Selina contends with rumors about a conflict between her and the First Lady. As Selina looks for a dog, her daughter comes for a visit and puts her foot down when it comes to picking the dog.

Selina faces accusations of being racist after she misspeaks at an interview on Meet the Press. As her staff tries to control the damage, Selina worries that a charming war hero could pose a political threat to her.

A combination of a presidential snub and bloggers' unflattering nicknames prompt Selina to send Dan to gather information. Dan ends up jeapordizing the Clean Jobs bill.

As Selina promotes healthy eating at an event, she is met by resistance from fast-food executives who are not shy about expressing their dissent. Selina contends with a personal secret.

Selina goes into damage control mode after she faces backlash over pregnancy rumors and the firing of a secret service agent. Dan is tasked with covering up Selina's involvement with the Clean Jobs bill as public perception of Selina worsens.

Selina faces an awkward situation after her trip to endorse a gubernatorial candidate is met by rejection on his part. Dan's actions regarding the Clean Jobs bill lands him in trouble.
