As Karim rents out a house on the beach, he takes with him his family, his cousin Amirato, and his friend Bahaa and his wife. Karim's private writer, Rafiq, brings the maid to help the family clean the house and cook the food, while the owner of the house spies on Karim's family.

Raqia goes to the house that Karim rented from her to take a fan that she left in a locked room in order to spy on them. Amirato is a very stingy man who buys sardines from Burawi, as his wife gets angry because she cleaned it all. Bahaa does not want to go to the sea because the sand is all dirty.

In the early morning, Bahaa goes for a jog at the edge of the sea and asks his wife upon his return to have his breakfast ready. As Karim goes to the sea after lunch, he burns in the sun and everyone laughs at him. Bahaa tells Amirato about global warming because he doesn't know about it.

As El Nagy sleeps in the street in front of the shop because of the excessive heat, Rafiq leaves his car on El Nagy's mattress and enters Karim's house to give him the pesticide and sleeps there. In the morning Rafiq finds that El Nagy removed his car wheels to take them away from him.

Amirato pretends that he has a stomach ache and keeps screaming because he does not want to go to the sea with Karim and the family; Bahaa brings him a doctor who gives him a painkiller, and everyone goes to the sea except his wife who stays with him.

When Karim asks Hamda, Raqia's husband, to fix the tap, Raqia welcomes that. As the family treats Hamda with affection and love, they offer him breakfast and coffee while he feels happy with them, which makes Raqia feel jealous, and she asks Hamda to return home.

As Karim's son, Sabry, returns from traveling with his girlfriend, who is older than him and works as a dancer, he tells his father that she is his fiancée and he wants him to approve of her. Bahaa is preparing a lecture on a famous writer and writing it on the computer, but Amirato worries him.

As Bahaa goes to the bank to change currency, his wife asks him to go to the market and buy the needs of the house, and he reluctantly agrees, just as Hayat asks Amirato to go to the market and buy meat for lunch.

As Bahaa goes to the sea with Hamda, he takes a swim in the cold water, but he likes it. When he returns, he tells the family about the benefits of swimming in the morning. Hamda visits Karim and starts smoking despite Karim's annoyance. Burawi takes money from anyone who parks their car on the street.

As the women decide to go to the market, Hayat leaves her son, Wahid, with Amirato and reminds him not to go to the sea without the sunscreen. Bahaa goes to the market and he falls to the ground because of Rafiq's car. When Hayat and her sisters return home, she finds that Wahid got a sunburn.

As Karim asks Rafiq to buy fresh fish from the market, Shadia cooks many types of delicious Tunisian food. The family members are surprised when Karim invites Bahaa’s manager and his French wife to stay with them for a while.

Karim's first wife goes to the beach house to tell Karim that their son Sabry is missing, so Karim contacts Sabry's girlfriend who tells him that he is with her; he reassures Khadija about him. El Nagy falls for a new girl who lives in front of his shop and gives her all her purchases for free.

As the people of the area where Karim and the rest of his family are staying hold a pastry festival, Burawi and El Nagy decide to make pies and enter the competition. Amirato wants to go to the festival with his wife, so they leave their son with Raqia. Karim, his wife, Bahaa, and his wife also go.

As Karim wakes up early to go to the beach with Hamda, Bahaa sees him and he gets angry. Karim's wife prepares to surprise him on his birthday. As the girl that El Nagy fell for leaves the house she rented, he learns that she is married and has been deceiving him to take supplies for free.

As Karim feels sick and remains in bed in pain, Amirato comes to measure his pressure and take a blood sample as he is a nurse. El Nagy is very distressed as remembers what the girl had taken from him; Burawi suggests that he looks for her.

As the results of the tests that Karim had arrive, the doctor asks him to eat healthy food to maintain his pressure and walk a lot, but Karim does not tolerate healthy food and he secretly goes to Hamda's house, as Raqia makes food for him.

Amirato goes out with Bahaa to the market after Karim refuses to go. Hamda invites Karim to lunch since his wife cooks healthy food, much to Karim's happiness. When Bahaa visits Hamda all of a sudden, Karim hides so as not to get caught.

As Amirato's wife makes a dessert he hates, Karim and the others like it. Amirato gives a dish to El Nagy and Burawi. Karim buys the same dessert from the market and distributes it to the family members.

As Amirato buys for the first time some sweets after he goes to the sea with Karim and Bahaa, everyone is surprised since he is a miser. As Karim and Bahaa go out to the town of Hammamet without the women knowing, Amirato finds out about them and does not tell anyone.

As Bahaa's children come from France, Karim goes to the airport to receive them. When Amirato's mother comes, Amirato gives her his room and his wife blames him for that. Bahaa’s son goes out with Sabry on a motorcycle.

Hayat quarrels with Souad because she took her clothes and did not return them. When El Nagy's nephew comes to visit him, he asks Hamda to stay with him because he does not have a place for him. As the young man tries to swim to go to Italy, he drives El Nagy crazy with his strange behaviors.

When Hamad's son comes from traveling, he meets Karim's wife as he was her best childhood friend. Karim feels very jealous, especially since Momo greets his wife with a kiss and does not go to work to spy on him.

On the night of Ramadan, Karim asks Amirato to give a plate of couscous to El Nagy, which makes him very happy; Hamda and Burawi also give him a plate of couscous. As El Bahi fasts for the first time, he goes to the sea with Hamda to shorten the time because he cannot bear the thirst.

As Bahaa sleeps at noon, Karim sneaks in with Wahid and puts a small bomb for him to pull a prank on him. Karim asks Rafiq to buy some supplies for him from the market because he cannot go alone because of fasting. Everyone spends the evening on the balcony with Hamda.

As Harbousha bids farewell to El Nagy to return to France, he gives him some gifts. Burawi prepares breakfast for El Nagy because he was angry with him. As Karim suspects that Bahaa is not fasting, he asks Amirato to ask Bahaa to stick his tongue out to make sure that he is fasting.

As Sabry returns with Bahaa’s son from their outing, Karim asks Sabry to greet Bahaa’s daughter, who gets angry because he does not want his daughter to be attached to Sabry; Sabry and the girl like each other. As a ceremony is held, Karim and Bahaa wear the traditional Tunisian dress.

Karim sends Rafiq to buy him a giant screen to watch the Derby match; Bahaa makes it hard on Rafiq because he always uses him. As the new tenants go to El Nagy to watch the match, Karim's favorite team wins and he throws a party, while Bahaa does not like football.

As Eid is approaching and the days of Ramadan are numbered, Amirato's mother comes to the house and makes Eid sweets after the women told her that they do not know how to prepare them. Sabry secretly meets Sarah at El Nagy's shop every day.

On the day of Eid, all family members wear new clothes, while Bahaa and Karim wear traditional Tunisian clothes. Sabry comes and greets his father. Amirato's mother gives some money to her son on the occasion of Eid and Karim also gives money to Wahid.

As Bahaa prepares the bags to travel to France, Karim asks Rafiq to bring the cars to take Amirato, his wife, Bahaa, and his wife to the airport, but Wahid hides the passports because he does not want them to leave; Karim finds them. El Nagy sadly bids farewell to everyone.
