As Al-Manouby hits a girl on the road and runs away, a man takes the license plate number and goes to the police, but Al-Manouby decides to go to the girl's family in order to silence them. Al-Manouby meets Tawfiq at the police station who blames him for his accident.

As Al-Manouby’s sister tells her driver how her brother left her son by her old husband in the village of orphans, she asks him to marry her. When Tawfiq goes with his daughter to visit Al-Manouby, he admires his sister who owns all the properties after her father's death.

As Al-Manouby tells the driver that he cannot marry his sister without his permission, he quarrels with his daughter after selling her necklace and giving money to her cousin to pay off his debt and get out of prison. As Al-Manouby's daughter escapes from the house, the family search for her.

As Samia enters the hospital, she meets Tawfiq's daughter, and they become friends. Al-Manouby's sister meets Tawfiq and they remember the past. Al-Manouby discovers a robbery in the printing press. Tawfiq quarrels with his ex-wife because she wants to take her daughter to live with her.

Farah reconciles with her father after she's convinced that he will not return to her mother. Al-Manouby quarrels with Salem because he gave his son an old car without his permission. Tawfiq agrees to work with Al-Manouby at the printing press.

As Tawfiq goes to work in the printing press, he asks to work for free. He also tells his friend that he wants to marry Zeinab, but he's afraid that people will think that he's after her money. Farah quarrels with her mother because she will get married. Salem tries to get closer to Zeinab.

When Salem proposes to marry Zeinab, Tawfiq grieves because he loves her. As the shop that Zeinab runs burns down, Salem tries to steal the property papers that Zeinab owns. Farah is sad over not passing her exams.

As Salem quarrels with Hisham, he exposes him in front of Zeinab for robbing the company. When Tawfiq tells Zeinab that her husband spends his money every night at nightclubs, she decides to write all the properties over to Al-Manouby, and she confronts Salem about his robbery.

As Hisham confesses his love for Farah, he removes the plaster cast from his hand and goes to the sea. Farah’s mother files a divorce lawsuit. Zeinab discovers that Salem has sold many stores because he has a general power of attorney.

Tawfiq tells Al-Manouby that Al-Shazly and Salem are stealing from the shop. Sohail quarrels with Salem for stealing from his wife. As Salem tries to harass Samia, she hits him and runs away.

Tawfiq wants to leave the printing press because he feels that he's neglecting his daughter. Samia goes to the hospital with Zeinab to see Salem. Zeinab goes to the lawyer to register the contracts.

After Zeinab finds out that Salem has sold her shops, she decides to cancel the general power of attorney that he has and ask for a divorce. As Farah quarrels with Salem, he tries to get close to her but she rebuffs him.

As Al-Manouby accuses his son of pushing Salem down the stairs, Samia confesses to her father the truth. When Tawfiq discovers that his daughter is taking sedative pills, he quarrels with her.

When Hisham goes to the police to confess that he killed Salem, they do not believe him. As Farah goes to Al-Manouby's house and tells them that it was her fault that Salem fell down the stairs, she goes to court with her father.

Farah enters the reformatory. Tawfiq tells Zeinab that he still loves her and wants to be with her. Tawfiq knows from Mustafa's uncle that Al-Manouby gave up his father's right when he was hit by the company’s car; Farah persuades him to forgive Al-Manouby. Tawfiq marries Zeinab.
