When the wandering artist Ruslan falls in love with the King's daughter Mila, their happiness is cut short when an evil sorcerer kidnaps her to use her for his wicked plan. Ruslan sets out to rescue her from the sorcerer's clutches.

In the age of valiant knights, beautiful princesses, and battling sorcerers, Ruslan, a wandering artist dreaming to become a knight, meets beautiful Mila and falls in love with her; not even suspecting that she is the King's daughter. But Chernomor, the evil sorcerer, appears in a magic vortex and kidnaps Mila to transform her power into his own magic power. Ruslan sets out on a chase after the kidnapped princess to overcome all obstacles and to prove that real love is stronger than magic.
