La Llorona, the Weeping Woman, is a horrifying appartion of a woman who is trapped between Heaven and Hell for drowning her children in a jealous rage and herself after them. She preys on children, desperate to replace her own. In the 1970s in Los Angeles, a social worker's children become her targets and their only hope to survive her is a disillusioned priest's mysticism practice.
