Zahra decides to escape on her wedding day and takes the Algerian desert road, where she continues her way to Tunisia. As she runs away from passers-by who try to harass her, she gets into a car accident. Maryam, the wife of an important Algerian figure, finds out that she has a terminal illness.

Al-Taher takes Zahra to the hospital to check on her after the accident and tries to help her when he feels that she's lost in Tunisia. He takes her home with him, which causes his family to be in shock. But his mother is glad since she can't stand her daughter-in-law, Maryam.

After Ammar and Zahra’s brother go to Tunisia, Ammar finds Zahra and threatens to kill her if she doesn't go with him. Maryam tells her friends about her illness and that she's decided to stay away from her family and not tell them. Al-Taher reprimands the man who harrassed Zahra.

After Ammar gets into trouble with a rival gang, he and Zahra's brother are kidnapped, and it's revealed that the gang boss is the Algerian businessman, Al-Taher. Ammar asks him to join his gang. As Zahra leaves Al-Taher's house and prepares to start a new life; she accidentally meets Ammar.

Zahra escapes when she sees Ammar. Maryam is thinking of making Al-Taher marry Zahra. Zahra asks a chef to work in his restaurant. When Maryam loses consciousness after having a seizure, she finds out that Yusuf is not there.

As the family looks for Yusuf, Maryam finds him in the street. Al-Taher's daughter sneaks out to go to her friend's birthday. Maryam's mother-in-law is planning to drive a wedge between her and Al-Taher. The police arrest Zahra for having no ID.

The police interrogate Ammar to find out information about the gang. Al-Taher bails Zahra out and brings his daughter back home. Ammar and Mahmoud agree to work with the police to bring Al-Taher down.

Ammar threatens to kill Mahmoud when he thinks about leaving. Al-Taher's mother, Zeinab, tries to create problems between her son and Maryam, so that Hend can get close to Al-Taher; she plots with Hend to have Yusuf kidnapped. Maryam is looking for Zahra to ask her to be a nanny for Yusuf.

Zahra agrees to work as a nanny at Al-Taher's house. Al-Taher tests Ammar's loyalty before letting him be part of his gang.

Maryam disappears and she sends Zahra her will, as she prefers to stay away and not let her family suffer with her. Ammar prepares to settle in Tunisia and build a new life while continuing to search for Zahra.

Ammar becomes an important member in Al-Taher's gang. Al-Taher and his kids are shocked after Maryam's departure.

Al-Taher feels that he's the reason that Maryam left, and he tells his kids that she is not coming back. Zeinab and Hend decide to cancel their plot to kidnap Yusuf, since Maryam has already left.

Hend tries to get close to Al-Taher after Maryam's absence. Maryam files for divorce, and Al-Taher quarrels with his mother. The kidnappers decide to go through with their job, even though Hend told them to cancel it.

The kidnappers abduct Yusuf and Zahra. Zeinab accuses Zahra of plotting with Maryam to kidnap Yusuf. Hend tries to contact the kidnappers, but they demand a large ransom.

Zeinab tries to come up with the ransom money. Al-Taher follows his mother and Hend, and finds out the location of the kidnappers. He manages to free Yusuf and Zahra. Al-Taher's men capture the kidnappers, until they tell them who is behind the plan.

Ammar finds out that Zahra is working as a nanny at Al-Taher's house. Al-Taher's older son likes Zahra. Zahra is worried that Ammar might find her, and Al-Taher promises to protect her.

Ammar beats one of the men at the casino. Mahmoud goes secretly to Zahra to warn her from Ammar.

Ammar tells Zahra that her brother has died. Al-Taher gets closer to Zahra and they develop feelings for one another.

Ammar tells Zahra that he loves her and will never let her go; she tells him that she's Al-Taher's fiancée. Al-Taher's son enrols in the police academy without his father’s approval. Ammar kills Al-Taher's bodyguards to take Zahra, and she kills him to protect Al-Taher.

Kamal accidentally shots Zahra, after Ammar had threatened him. Al-Taher kills Kamal.
