Ed and Lorraine Warren lock the possessed doll Annabelle in their closed artifact room behind sacred glass, but a terrible night of terror begins when Annabelle awakens evil spirits in the room, who all set their sight on a new target: the Warren's ten-year-old daughter, Judy, and her friends.

A porcelain doll was made in 1943 by the father of a deceased 7 year old daughter, Annabelle. He lets a demon reside in the doll believing it was his beloved daughter's spirit. Possessing and murdering humans since then, the doll is now locked by demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren in their home. It will all but possess their haunted artifacts and target the Warrens' daughter and baby sitters.
