Al-Pacha decides to get married after the death of his second wife, but his daughter and family try to sabotage it. Sami is in love with the neighbor's daughter, Sarah, and wants to win her heart. When Al-Pacha returns from his honeymoon, an embarrassing show is prepared for him.

The newly married bride prepares breakfast for Al-Pacha, and when she calls him to eat, his family interferes and eat all the food themselves. Dorra gets angry and her husband tells her that he will put a stop to these antics. His family works on a new plan against him.

Hajer's jealousy causes problems between her and her husband. Winas confesses his love to Dalila but she rejects him. Hajer tells him that she will help him in exchange for him keeping her updated on any news.

Dalila works as a seamstress and gets customers which sparks Hajer's jealousy. Al-Pasha learns about the deal between Winas and Hajer and decides to punish him. Hajer gets close to Sami to get information about his neighbor, Rania, because she thinks that she's in a relationship with Al-Pasha.

Winas is still secretly working with Hajer. Al-Pasha goes to a secret place and Hajer watches him in the hopes of finding out what he's hiding. A man running away from the police happens to land in Al-Pasha's home, and involves the family with him.

One of the neighbors discovers that Ismail's secret room has valuable antiques and money. The neighbor tells Sami. Sarah's aunt tries to convince her to marry her son, Sami. The family panics when Sarah gets sick.

Winas interferes in Dalila and Mahmoud's relationship. Sarah and her friends decide to go to Soussa to attend a festival. Dalila finishes the suit for Al-Pasha, but Hajer is jealous and decides to destroy it with the help of Winas.

Mahmoud is on a date with his wife, and his daughter, who suffers from depression and tells her aunt that she feels neglected by him. Winas comes with a gift for Dalila, and Sarah manipulates him so he can help her with the dishes. Winas wants to kill himself unless Dalila agrees to marry him.

Winas is sick after his suicide attempt. Hajer tries to persuade her husband to change his appearance but he refuses. Winas and Sami plan to split the inheritance when they marry Dalila and Sarah. Hajer asks her husband to give her part of the house but he refuses, so she runs away until he complies.

Hajer's brother takes her back to her husband's home and tries to lie to him, but Al-Pasha refuses to believe him. Sarah insists on going to the fashion festival. Al-Pasha is still angry with Hajer and Rania tries to seduce him. He discovers that his daughter went out without his knowledge.

Al-Pasha is angry with the whole family and punishes them all until they tell him that Sarah is at the fashion festival. When he kicks them all out, Hajer is pleased. Sarah returns from the festival in a bad state.

Mahmoud tells Sarah that he will help her open up her business if she succeeds in the debate. Political instability in Tunis results in food shortages. Al-Pasha rations his family's food requests. Sarah and Shami meet up at the rooftop, and Winas surprises them.

Sami tries to persuade his uncle to host his Egyptian friend at their house, and his uncle reluctantly agrees. Hajer tries to convince Mahmoud to sell their house and move into a more prestigious neighborhood. Sami takes Mervat in a stroll around the city, which incites Hajer's jealousy.

Sarah tries to get to know Mervat, and he tells her that her marriage to Sami has been planned since they were children. While distributing the gifts, Mervat learns that she mistakenly took another bag that has smuggled antiquities in it, and the family gets into trouble.

Mahmoud is found innocent and is released. Sami and Fatila's care for Mervat provokes Sarah's jealousy. After the intended trouble she caused to the family, Mervat decides to leave them and rent an apartment.

Sarah takes Mervat out. Mahmoud invites Hajer for theater, and she is surprised to learn that he invited Mervat as well. Hajer tries to get Dalila's help to get rid of Mervat, and Dalila promises to help.

Mervat decides to make the family some recipes from the Egyptian cuisine, and Fateela prevents everyone from entering in order not to disturb her. Fatema's long-absent husband returns, and she has a panic attack.

Fateela's aunt passes away and leaves him a will that might mention his share in the inheritance. Dalila tries to get closer to Winas now that they believe he has become wealthy. Fatema meets her husband and she bursts into tears.

Fatema returns to her husband on the condition that he stays in another room. Winas starts to act arrogantly with his family members who eagerly approach him for his fortune. When he reads the will, Winas is shocked to learn that what he's entitled to inherit is as trivial as the price of an olive!

The heirs of Al-Pasha's house decide to sell the house and they have to move out within a week. Hajer is shocked to learn that her husband is just a custodian to the property, but she decides to stay with him through thick and thin because she sincerely loves him.
