As Andi is getting ready to work with Adam, he tries to make the office look more appropriate. After he finds out that Lowell and Jen are separated, Adam invites Lowell to stay at his house.

Adam and Andi encounter a problem at work and they try not to let it affect their personal relationship. After the kids find out that Lowell is a great cook, they try their best not to let him leave.

When Lowell moves to a new apartment, Adam and Don start hanging out with him while lying to their wives about it. Andi tries to convince Adam to give her her own desk at work.

When Kate comes home late one night, Adam decides to use the "old school" parenting method with her but it doesn't go as expected. Andi is shocked when she can't find baby pictures of Emme.

Andi and Lowell try to find a way to secure a loan after having a sewer piping problem at their flip home. Joe's medical condition improves with the arrival of nurse Funchy.

As Adam and Andi try to have some quality time alone, they book a night at a hotel, while letting Kate stay home by herself. She takes advantage of the situation and has a full-scale party.

Adam's love for meat becomes hard to resist after he offers to become a vegan to bond with Kate.

As Adam 50th birthday approaches, his attempt to take a dirt bike ride proves more challenging than he expected. Everyone at work tries to figure out what to do with their bonuses.

Adam goes out of his way to try to show Teddy that he's the real hero, after Teddy wrote an essay at school naming Andi as his hero.

As the guys get ready for their annual trip to the cabin, Adam invites Andi by mistake but his attempt to stop her from going backfires.

When Andi's snobbish sister Kelly comes to visit, Adam and Andi enlist Marcy's help to lower her spirit, but they find out that she's facing real problems.

After Lowell hooks up with Kelly, Adam and Andi try to persuade Lowell that Kelly is not right for him, until they become convinced that Kelly might have really changed for the better.
