As a terrorist organization called the Pointed Circle entraps Josh, he soon comes to learn that he is in a future where humanity has fallen into a civil war brought on by Stu Camillo, who has created the cure.

Tiger uses her return to pursue answers about the new future timeline, but what she finds out brings her no comfort as she discovers her connection to the creation of this new timeline.

When Wolf is mistaken for his doppelganger from this timeline, he seizes the opportunity to get more information about how things go in this timeline. However, he finds himself forming an attachment to the family of his lookalike and their way of living.

Tiger's interactions with her doppelganger leave her unsettled. Wolf settles in his doppelganger's life. Josh's struggle for survival in the desert comes to an end, but the alternative doesn't offer him much hope.

As Josh, Tiger, and Wolf come together, they turn their attention to the Pointed Circle, coming up with a plan to infiltrate their headquarters to get the TTD. But their mission reveals a horrifying secret to Josh.

Josh faces danger from every side as the members of the Pointed Circle come after him during his service in a labor camp. Tiger uses every method at her disposal to locate Athena.

Tiger's search for the TTD amounts to nothing. Wolf takes a risk in having Josh reside outside his Clusternest, even though the Pointed Circle remains on the latter's tail.

Tiger and Stu form an unexpected connection when the latter makes her a part of his simulation, dazzling her with a world where he can make anything into a reality.

The attempted kidnapping of Josh turns into a bloody ordeal after Stu sends men to take advantage of the chaos that has taken over the NAG. The identity of the leader of the Pointed Circle is revealed.

Ty-Anne's past comes to light, including her connection to Stu, her meeting with Torque, and her involvement with the resistance.

With the MARS launch going into effect, Josh risks everything to sabotage Stu's brain uploader machine, hoping to stave off the upcoming destruction if he brings Stu down.

As they reclaim the TTD, Josh, Tiger, and Wolf embark on multiple trips to the past to destroy Stu's brain, but their mission is made more difficult by the fact that they only have an 11-second window to accomplish their mission.

Josh, Tiger, and Wolf face the consequences of their time travel, leaving their lives hanging in the balance as they face a death sentence and a test of their bond, driven by the actions of a peculiar jailer.
