Elliot is an unstable but brilliant man who uses his experience as a cyber-security engineer to hack felons and act as a cyber-vigilante. He is recruited by the secretive Mr. Robot, an anarchist in charge of a team of hacktivists, to bring down the company he works for.
In the aftermath of the fsociety hack, Elliot tries to cut off tries with Mr. Robot to no avail. He soon comes to discover that Mr. Robot's influence on him is far more than he originally thought.

After Elliot is shot to prevent him from launching Stage 2 of the hack, he tries to infiltrate E Corp to execute his own plan.
Elliot and Mr. Robot return during Christmas. When Mr. Robot learns that his old enemy is hunting him again, he has to find a way to deal with him.
