With Erica and Barry leaving soon for college, Beverly talks the family into going on one last trip to Disneyland. As Geoff says to Erica that they need to talk, she feels concerned about their relationship.

A surprise awaits Adam as the first girl he ever loved, Dana, returns to Jenkintown. When Barry and Erica arrive on campus, they find out that they have no place to stay in.

Geoff starts a new food delivery project as Murray inspires him to do so, but before long, he regrets it. Adam does not want to write a report on Sandra Day O'Connor, so he tries to come up with a creative solution.

Barry seeks to get into a college fraternity, while Beverly attempts to get Murray to be more active.

As Erica realizes that parents weekend is approaching, she tricks Beverly, saying that it has changed into "parents Thursday". Adam sets out to land the role of Romeo in the school play after finding out that Dana wants to play Juliet.

After Beverly gets a good deal on a set of paintings, they get eerily destroyed, which leads her and Adam to believe that there's a ghost in the house. Barry wants to hold a party with a Rocky Horror Picture Show theme, to which Erica objects.

In an attempt to spend quality time with Adam and Barry, Murray purchases WrestleMania tickets, but they turn out to be fake. As Beverly seeks to head the neighborhood watch group, things don't go as planned.

On Thanksgiving, Beverly grows frustrated with Pop Pop because of his many demands. As Barry and Erica prepare to go back home to spend the holiday with the family, Uncle Marvin unintentionally throws a monkey wrench into their plans.

A publisher expresses interest in Beverly's cookbook on the condition that she includes the stories that inspired her recipes. Barry and Erica's living together as roommates has them at each other's throats.

Beverly sets out to have the Goldbergs do a perfect Christmas card in an attempt to outshine the Kremps. Elsewhere, members of the JTP become fed up with Barry's pranks, which leads to unforeseen consequences.

After learning that he is a year younger than they thought, Beverly attempts to throw Murray a 50th birthday party. Meanwhile, Adam has Coach Mellor prepare him for the tryouts for pickleball.

Geoff tries hard to hide the fact that he is living with Erica and Barry from Beverly on game night, while Adam seeks to impress a girl at school, so he seeks the guidance counselor's advice on how to be cool.

An encounter with the other Adam leads Adam to question his ability to make it in the field of filmmaking, while Geoff informs Erica of his wish to join college for real.

Erica grows suspicious of Barry when they get the same grade on a paper, whereupon she discovers something unexpected about him. With the school organizing a dance on Valentine's Day, Adam and Dana's hopes to go with their crushes are dashed, but Beverly steps in.

Pops tries to help Adam be cool for a party at Dave Kim's house. Elsewhere, after Beverly's publisher agrees to edit her book, she starts behaving strangely.

Adam has to decide whether to go to the food court to have lunch with his friends or comply with Beverly's rules. As Barry gives Geoff his ID in order for the latter to be allowed to eat at the college's cafeteria, Geoff gets mistaken for Barry.

Adam and Murray go out of their way to avoid going on the camping trip arranged for them by Beverly. Elsewhere, Erica learns a valuable lesson after she becomes a member of an a cappella group.

After Beverly buys Adam a bike similar to the one from the film Pee-wee's Big Adventure, she feels concerned when he resolves not to ride it. Murray's furniture store is transformed into an after-hours college lounge by Erica and Barry.

As Barry, Erica, Ren, and the JTP travel to Jamaica on spring break, unforeseen events ensue. When Adam gets a lower score on a test than he thought he'd get, he starts to rethink the idea of going to college.

Murray has a tough decision to make after his competitor Formica Mike makes him a tempting offer. As William Penn fails to get the rights to a famous spring musical, Adam tries to save the day.

With a telethon taking place at college, Barry promises Ren to get the duo Hall & Oates to make an appearance in an attempt to impress her. Beverly tries to fix Bill up with a date, but things don't go as planned.

As Beverly keeps meddling in Adam and Brea's relationship, they devise a plan to get her to leave them alone. Barry, who is dating Ren, is taken aback when Lainey returns and asks to see him.

With prom coming up, Adam feels worried that his date Brea will be prom queen and he won't be prom king, so he turns to Beverly for help, which he soon regrets. As Geoff finds out that his father is in the hospital, Barry tries to help Erica be more empathetic.
