Ahmed tells Samiha he can't go with her to welcome her cousin Adel because of his work. He begins preparing for a new project with Iman's help, and Samiha rebukes him for being late. Aida grieves as she suffers from childbearing problems, and Mahmoud comforts her. Adel and Iman travel to Alexandria to start the project.

As Samiha decides to leave the house, Ahmed refuses to let his daughter Samah go with her mother, but Samah insists on going to her. Iman notices the problems that Ahmed is having. Samah gets sick after accompanying Ahmed to the site, which Aida tells Samiha, who files a lawsuit for her daughter's custody.

Ahmed tries to prevent Samah from thinking of her mother. Mahmoud finds that Samiha’s mom wants her divorced from Ahmed. Sahar asks about her late dad and learns that Mahmoud isn't her dad. Samiha denies her link to what her mom did and tries to check on Samah. Samiha’s mom files a divorce lawsuit against Ahmed.

Adel and Samiha's mom defame Ahmed in the company by claiming there's a relationship between him and Iman, who asks Ahmed to solve his problems with Samiha. Iman gets fired. Ahmed rejects Mahmoud's request to reconcile him with Samiha for the sake of Samah, and Ahmed decides to marry.

Samiha’s mom files a report against Iman, and the lawyer brings in false testimonies and photos to prove Ahmed’s relationship with Iman and get alimony. Ahmed apologizes to Iman for what happened and proposes to her, but she refuses. As Ahmed gets assaulted and threatened, Samiha blames her mother.

As Samah gets into an accident while on her way with Ahmed to travel, Mahmoud asks him to tell Samiha, who receives a call from an unknown woman telling her that Samah has had an accident, so she rushes to the hospital, but finds no one. Ahmed is prevented from traveling because of the custody case.

Samiha's mom insists that Ahmed is hiding her, and Samiha accuses Adel of abducting her, but he denies and helps her look for Samah, who calls Ahmed and Samiha and asks Samiha to return to Ahmed's house in order to tell her where she is; Mahmoud reveals that he has been hiding her to teach them a lesson.
