When the Pasha goes to visit Mr. Abdel Malik, he tells him that his land will suffer from poverty and hunger, unless his daughter Al-Batoul marries Nasser, and Al- Batoul agrees to the marriage as a sacrifice for the sake of the people.

Commander Nasser marries Al-Batoul and loves her a lot. He gives her a small goat as a gift, and it brings her joy. Khanisa who loves Nasser tries hard to get his attention, but to no avail.

Al-Batoul's relationship with her husband grows stronger after he saves her from an intruder. When Al-Batoul becomes pregnant, Khanisa tries to kill her with the help of her maid Maimouna. The Pasha gets poisoned by Commander Al-Baroudy, and Nasser is wrongfully imprisoned for the crime.

The Pasha decides to kill Al-Batoul and Nasser after he confirms they tried to poison him. When Commander Al-Baroudy kills Bilal, his beloved Gaita tries to avenge him. She comes across Al-Batoul's old love, and on the day of the beheading of Al-Batoul and Nasser, he tells the Pahsa the truth.
