Seven months after Charleston's Second Mass, Tom gets elected to a political position, but he is busy with the resistance's ongoing fight against the alien invaders.

Tom is urged to go out and destroy the power source for Espheni's weaponry. Hal's romance with Karen appears in his dreams. The group finds out that one of them is a mole.

The citizens of Charleston are getting ready for another potentially catastrophic onslaught just two years after the alien invasion. Within the new regime, a sniper attack by an unexpected gunman raises concerns and uncertainties.

Tom receives an invitation to meet with a strong leader following the Charleston residents' successful defense against a second extraterrestrial invasion with the use of new, cutting-edge weapons.

Tom and Pope are dependent on one another to survive when a mission goes horribly wrong. In the meantime, Weaver and company are making frantic efforts to locate two missing members of the 2nd Mass.

When a family of outlaws spies on the Masons during their search and rescue operation, they get into trouble.

Tom becomes wary of his surroundings. While returning to Charleston, Tom runs into a discovery. Weaver and Pope disagree about how to deal with the possible mole.

Tom unearths top-secret information regarding the core of the extraterrestrial operation. Charleston is getting ready to launch an offensive against the Espheni in the meantime, but the plan is derailed by a huge explosion.

The Mason family members who have been separated are reunited with one another after the 2nd mass destroys a vital Espheni base, eliminating an unrelenting foe.
