When Ja'far's uncle dies, he leaves all his fortune to an orphan called Mariam, who has emigrated from Morocco. As Mariam returns to receive the inheritance, Ja'far tries to find a way to prevent her from having it.

Al-Zahia is thrilled when Mariam returns. Mariam refuses to receive the inheritance as she wants to return to her work. Ja'far's happiness with Mariam's decision is short-lived when the lawyer tells him that the will forbids him from assuming control. Ja'far suggests having an election.

Mariam discovers that the Hajj was in debt prior to his death and that he mortgaged the farm. Al-Zahia tells her that the Hajj yielded control of everything to Ja'far, who may be responsible for all the debts. Ja'far asks his sister for the farm's documents, but she denies knowing their location.

Nour Al-Din visits Mariam's office and confesses his feelings for her. As he asks his mother to get his uncle to accompany him to ask for Mariam's hand, she informs him that his uncle won't go, so he asks her to accompany him instead. Ja'far tries to seize the ranch.

Mariam decides to have elections to decide who gets to manage the ranch. Mariam discovers that Besh'eib is the one who poisoned the cow.

Al-Aeidy tells Mariam that he came to save the ranch from bankruptcy. However, Mariam suspects that he is working with Ja'far. Al-Aeidy suggests that they sell all the horses.

Ja'far gets Al-Tuhamy to offer his services to Mariam, but she grows suspicious of him and hires some specialists to help instead.

Hala arrives to do an ad about her company's beauty products. Mariam asks Hala to make an ad to publicize the ranch.

Ja'far forges official papers that show that the Hajj wrote the ranch over to Besh'eib before his death. Mariam uncovers Ja'far's plot.

Ja'far tells Mariam that there is a buried treasure in the ranch and that he must bring a Sheikh to take it out. Mariam throws Ja'far out. Ja'far tries to use his sister to influence Mariam, but that attempt proves unsuccessful as well.

Ja'far decides to throw a singing festival at the ranch. As Besh'eib and Osama train to sing, they try to sing at the festival, which gets them beaten.

Mariam plans to have the Hajj's favorite horse participate in a competition. Ja'far tries to make the horse sick to preclude its participation.

Na'eim tries to confess his love for Mariam but she shocks him when she speaks of what a good friend he is to her.

Osama asks his mother to go to ask for Ghazal's hand. Ghazal's excessive demands ruin the marriage. Ja'far asks Na'eim to teach him how to digitize work so that he could use it in the ranch.

Ja'far discovers that there is a piece of land that Mariam doesn't know of. As he asks Al-Dawy for the land's deed, Mariam finds out about his scheme and threatens to report him to the police.

Na'eim teaches the children of the ranch about animals. Mariam promises a monetary prize for whoever can tell her everything about the animals in the ranch. As all the ranch's workers get to studying, Osama ends up winning.

Al-Zahia wants her son to work with Ja'far, but Rabeh refuses to hire him. Mariam visits Ja'far when she learns that he has a workshop. Ghazal tries to find a rich and handsome husband on Instagram.

When Ayman visits the ranch, Ja'far invites him to lunch. Ayman meets Besh'eib, Osama, and Mariam. Na'eim grows jealous of Ayman. Al-Dawy invites Ayman to lunch with an ulterior motive: he wants him to wed his daughter Ghazal, a notion that Ayman rejects.

When Mariam goes on a trip, she leaves Ayman in charge, a notion that infuriates both Ja'far and Al-Dawy, who proceed to plot against Ayman.

Ayman quarrels with Mariam over his wish to leave the ranch. In an attempt to make Mariam jealous, Ayman pretends to work for Al-Dawy and to have wed Ghazal.

Mariam gathers Ja'far, Na'eim, and Al-Dawy to discuss turning the ranch into a tourist attraction site. Na'eim lays out the downsides of the projects, especially that the people of the ranch are not qualified to handle tourists.

When Rabeh tells Ja'far that he was chosen to go to Hajj (pilgrimage), Ja'far is furious since he doesn't want to leave the ranch to Mariam. Ja'far gets as far as the airport before he changes his mind and returns to the ranch.

Twenty years after her departure, the sister of the vet whom Al-Dawy used to be in love with returns. Al-Zahia grows jealous when she thinks that Besh'eib is in love with her, but Ghaita tells her that she harbors no romantic feelings for any man on the ranch.

Ja'far plots with Shekeib to get rid of Mariam, Al-Dawy, and Besh'eib. Shekeib devises a plan to seize the ranch's deed and give it to Ja'far for two million dirhams.

Mariam decides to exchange horses with one of her London friends, and she enlists the help of Besh'eib, Al-Dawy, and Al-Zahia.

When Mariam sends Al-Dawy to an agriculture exhibit, Ja'far grows wroth that she trusted Al-Dawy and not him. Mariam decides to have a cooking competition between Al-Zahia and Ghazal.

Osama goes on a strike to claim his rights. Na'eim's friend, a journalist, arrives at the ranch, which makes Mariam jealous. Ja'far tries to stand up to Osama.

Rabeh makes a mistake and gives Ja'far the tests of the sick cow instead of his own medical tests, driving Ja'far to believe that he is going to die. The realization prompts him to restore people's rights to them.

Al-Zahia tells Ghazal about her pregnancy with Osama and her feelings for Besh'eib. Mariam quarrels with Besh'eib over his perpetually raised voice.

When Mariam and Al-Zahia take charge of the ranch, Ja'far and Besh'eib plot to get in their way. The women emerge triumphant in the dispute that follows between them and their male counterparts.
