Galal is a poor physical education teacher, whose wife Hoda suffers from paralysis. As he reluctantly agrees that his daughter, Shahd, goes to her friend's birthday party, an accident delays Galal from reaching her, and he is interrupted by shocking news from Hoda.

Galal rushes to the hospital as Shahd is transferred there after she got into a violent accident that caused her to fall into a coma. Dr. Malak tells him that the wounds were caused by her being dragged in order to cause an abortion, much to Galal's shock. The police question the witnesses.

Hoda breaks down because of the accident. Galal meets the mother of Shahd's friend, Nadine, and finds out that she lied about the party. Malak submits her report on the accident to the bureau of investigation instead of the initial report that was written.

Fearing for Shahd's reputation, Galal refuses to file a report to the prosecution about the accident; Malak rejects his decision while promising to help him in treating his wife Hoda. As Malak informs Galal that the fetus is alive and hands him Shahd's phone, he discovers that Nadine was lying.

As Shahd comes out of the coma, she loses her ability to speak. As Galal monitors Nadine to find out the young man Shahd was with, she hits him and helps her boyfriend Hazem escape. Galal insists on refusing to file a report.

Hazem's thugs beat Galal. Lt. Col. Yusef is assigned to investigate Shahd’s case after Malak submits her report to the prosecution; he goes to the hospital to meet Shahd.

Shahd tries to commit suicide after her pregnancy is revealed to her family and the people of the neighborhood, while Galal suffers from gossip. As Nadine leads Galal to Ghada, who was with Shahd at the party, he goes to the nightclub to meet her.

As Amr prevents Galal from interrogating Ghada, he devises a new plan with Selim and Hazem after finding out that the fetus is still alive. After regaining her ability to talk, Shahd refuses to reveal the identity of the father in front of Yusef and Malak.

Amr's assistant and Selim threaten to kill Shahd's family if she does not abort the child. Malak refuses Shahd's pleading to perform the operation for her. Galal goes after Ghada.

Galal fails to get any information from Selim and Ghada about the identity of Shahd's boyfriend. Malak faces disciplinary actions after submitting her report to the prosecution without the permission of the hospital director.

Yusef gathers information about Shahd because he suspects that someone is trying to conceal the truth with the aid of the hospital director. Selim meets with his friends to find a way to silence Shahd.

Shahd confesses to Galal that she is married, but the contract was stolen from her on the day of the accident. Because of her refusal to inform him of her husband's identity, Galal claims to Nadine that the marriage contract is in his possession; the news reaches Selim.

It's revealed in a flashback that Selim promised to officially marry Shahd after her pregnancy. Aziz cancels the decision to suspend Malak from work. Yusef tells Galal that Selim lied to him about Shahd's boyfriend.

As Yusef is investigating Selim's presence in the nightclub on the day of the accident, the latter informs Ghada's father that his daughter planned the accident in order to marry Selim.

Khamis asks Galal for a hefty sum within two days in exchange for a video he recorded on the day of Shahd's accident. As the director of the hospital eavesdrops on Galal and Malak, he relays the news to a mysterious person.

As Sherif assaults Malak, Galal stops him. Galal raises money from his uncle and friend, while Malak sends him a sum of money. Aziz conveys what he heard to Selim and Amr.

Galal returns the money to Malak. Khamis asks Amr for a larger sum of money in exchange for deleting the video. Galal throws Riad, Khalil’s assistant, out after bargaining with him to treat Hoda in exchange for waiving Shahd’s rights, and when he goes to meet Khamis, he finds him stabbed.

As the police arrest Galal after finding his phone in Khamis’s house, his family collapses, while Malak turns to Yusef to help Galal.

As Galal confesses to Yusef what happened on the day of the crime, he promises him to investigate the matter. Sherif tries to assault Malak. Khalil assigns Amr and Selim to bring him the video of the accident.

As Yusef monitors Selim and his friends, he sees Amr while he is handing over money to the one who killed Khamis. Ghada gets jealous of Malak after Selim evades her.

Munira expels Hoda. Yusef discovers that the killer Zaynhum is at Khamis’s house and the police search for him. Amr and Munira get married. As Zaghloul forges a property contract for Galal’s apartment, he gets an order to vacate the apartment.

Malak offers her assistance to Galal's family. Shahd’s health deteriorates. The police arrest Zaynhum who confesses to killing Khamis without implicating Amr. Galal is shocked after Zaghloul seized his apartment.

As Shahd goes into labor prematurely, she is transferred to the hospital and gives birth to a daughter. Aziz passes the news to Amr during Selim and Ghada's marriage, and then Hoda dies.

As Hoda's burial ceremony ends, Galal and Amina's daughters move to live with Malak. Noha finds Selim and Shahd's marriage contract in Amr's safe. As Baby Huda is taken to the hospital due to her illness, Shahd discovers that the child was switched there.

Yusef investigates the kidnapping case. As Shahd testifies to her marriage to Selim, and that Adel and Hazem were witnesses on their customary marriage, they both deny her statements. Galal seeks Morsi's help. It's revealed that Aziz and his assistant were involved with Amr in switching Huda.

Adel admits to Galal the truth before he dies. As Hazem confesses on Amr, Galal gets the video of the accident and the customary marriage contract from the latter. Amr tells Galal that Khalil killed the child Huda.

Yusef interrogates Selim. After Malak takes Galal to the hospital, she discovers Aziz's complicity with Amr, so she smuggles Galal again in secret and finds the flash drive and the marriage contract with him.

After Amr's armed men find him, Galal escapes from his hideout with Malak, after which he hands Malak an envelope containing evidence that incriminate Selim and his companions in order to give it to Yusef, and then Galal kidnaps Ghada.

Amr breaks into Malak's apartment in order to discover the location of Galal and steal his belongings from her, after which a quarrel occurs between him and Selim. Khalil tells Galal that his granddaughter is alive.

Selim kills Amr. Yusef intervenes and rescues Galal and Huda while Selim tries to kill them during Huda's exchange for Ghada. The police arrest Selim and everyone who was involved with him. Shahd marries her neighbor.
