As Abdel Hamid lives with his large family in one house, he remembers his life before his marriage and his love for the singer Abdel Halim Hafez. While he celebrates with his children his wedding anniversary, he tries to reconcile matters between his children and their spouses.

Zubaida tells Essam that she wants to divorce Majed, while Ibtisam thinks of having plastic surgery. On the other hand, Samir complains to Abdel Hamid about his problems at work, and Nader grieves about Amal's marriage.

Zubaida tries to create problems between her and Majed in order to divorce her. While Abdel Hamid blames Ibtisam for not caring about her daughter. At the same time, Yaqoub's mother succeeds in convincing her son not to undergo eye surgery.

As Khaled confronts Essam with his love for Souad, he denies the matter. Faten apologizes to Nader for what she did to him. Yaqoub's mother tries to convince him to bring him a teacher, but he refuses.

As Faten teaches Yaqoub, Majed complains to Abdel Hamid about Zubaida's bad treatment to him. While Essam tries to stay away from Souad so as not to raise suspicions towards him, and Souad's ex-husband visits Abdel Hamid.

Essam gets angry at Abu Walid's visit to Souad, and his wife becomes suspicious. Yaqoub is sick and Zubaida does not pay attention to him. Najat tries to set Samir up with her son's teacher so that he can marry her.

Ibtisam fights with Essam, who believes that she discovered his love for Souad, while Zubaida scolds Majed for playing the role of the victim.

Samir takes Majed to the hospital after losing consciousness, and Umm Zubaida blames her daughter for not caring about her husband Majed in his illness. Yaqoub tells his friend of his desire to marry Faten.

Adnan arrives from travel, and stays at his uncle Abdel Hamid's house. While Essam asks Souad to stay away from him, Faten discovers Yaqoub's love for her.

Souad recalls her old love for Essam, and Abdel Hamid tells his daughter Zubaida to look after her husband in his illness. Samir scolds his sister for getting close to Adnan, as she doubts that he sent her letters previously.

Yaqoub confesses to Faten that he sent her the letters, and Essam is upset to discover Souad's ex-husband's desire to remarry her. Samir asks Mashari to stay away from him.

Nadia confronts Adnan with his love for her, and Ibtisam confirms Essam's love for another woman. Mashari discovers Samir's secret and his outstanding debts.

Abdel Hamid teaches his daughter Zubaida an unforgettable lesson for her selfishness. Yaqoub's father quarrels with his wife for her excessive interference in Yaqoub's affairs.

Souad admits to Latifa that she is the cause of the problem that occurred between Zubaida and her father. Fadda decides to leave the house and stay with her sister.

Abdel Hamid remains upset after his wife left the house, and gathers his children to apologize to her. Nadia asks Souad to continue writing the letters. Khalil reproaches Faten for walking away from Yaqoub after he fell for her.

Suspicion creeps back into Ibtisam's heart towards her husband and Souad, while Souad's ex-husband tries to get back with her. Essam remembers meeting his stepmother and agreeing to support her financially in return for keeping her marriage to his father hidden from his mother.

Khalil encourages Yaqoub to formally propose to Faten, and Ibtisam confronts Souad about her relationship with her husband Essam. Najat asks Souad to stay away from him, while Zubaida resents Majed's lack of attention to her.

As Ibtisam and Souad fight, Abdel Hamid scolds both of them and tries to find out the reason for their quarrel. The doctor tells Yaqoub to perform an eye operation so that he can see again.

Souad tries to return to her ex-husband, to forget Essam, and Majed advises her not to become attached to Essam's love so she wouldn't lose everything. Yaqoub undergoes an eye operation and regains his sight.

Samir remembers the death of his friend Mishaal and being the cause of it. Essam tells Ibtisam that Souad is hired in his work, and Yaqoub treats Faten differently after the operation.

Everyone objects when Abdel Hamid informs his family of his decision to sing and record songs in his voice for Abdel Halim Hafez. Yaqoub continues to repudiate his love for Faten after regaining his sight.

Khalil tries to console Faten for what Yaqoub did to her, and the latter complains about his family's financial condition. Zubaida tries to talk to Majed, but he does not care. Najat discovers Abu Essam's marriage to another lady before he died, and an unknown person hits Samir on the head.

Essam's mother quarrels with him that he hid his father’s marriage to another woman, and Adnan proposes to Nadia. Zubaida gets upset when she learns that Majed is thinking of marrying Khadija. Abdel Hamid tries to persuade Souad to return to Fayez.

Essam's mother tries to persuade Khadija to marry Majed. Samir tells his mother about the secret he hid from them, and she helps him to pay off his debt. Abdel Hamid discovers that Majed is setting up a furniture showroom.

Majed asks Abdel Hamid to attend his wedding to Khadija, and Faten tells Yaqoub's mother that she is engaged to her neighbor Nader. Essam punishes his brother Khaled for stealing money.

Souad apologizes to Ibtisam, and decides to return to Fayez. Zubaida tries to persuade Majed not to marry Khadija, so he scolds her and kicks her out. On the wedding day, Zubaida feigns illness and asks for his help. Yaqoub apologizes to Faten and tries to make her return to him.

Majed refuses Zubaida's pleas not to marry Khadija, and the wedding takes place. Faten marries Nader, which breaks Yaqoub's heart. Fayez and Souad agree to return together and travel.

Samir tries to console Zubaida. At the same time, Yaqoub does not give in to Faten's marriage to Nader and attacks her mother's house, and she kicks him out.

Abdel Hamid's children and his wife get angry at him again for the idea of singing professionally. Fayez tells Souad of his travels to America. Faten's mother warns her daughter of Yaqoub bothering her at work.

Zubaida travels to complete her studies abroad and asks Samir for help. Yaqoub fights with Khalil and asks him to stay away from him, and he loses his sight again. Khadija tells Majed that she is pregnant, as well as Faten. Abdel Hamid fulfills his wish and sings on stage a song for Abdel Halim.
